Reviews of NJ Best OB/GYN
"respectfully i been going here for 10 years and for the passed 3 years this place has been pure TRASH. the front desk is all rude as hell. Dr faris is horrible. You call to get an appt u get the run around nobody actually tried to help you. Not understanding at all not to mention i’m pregnant and they wouldn’t take me IN ANY LOCATION. ridiculous. I spoke with a front desk in broad st location she was rude af had an attitude like if you hate your job then QUIT. you can’t work in a gynecologist office and be rude to a pregnant patient how tf does that work? lol not to mention they have other locations for no reason bc u can only be seen at ONE specific location. Dr faris office needs to do better. don’t go here!!!! don’t BOTHER!! especially if your pregnant. that’s why u keep losing patients. Go to holistic OBGYN in passaic - BEAUTIFUL service!! was taken same day even as a NEWWWWWW pregnant patient."
"Dr. Faras, his staff and and Kristi are a disgrace to medicine, he is a idiot, a joke and should not be allowed to practice medicine ! He is not up to date with the times or with medicine, he also got fired from Barnabas Hospital. The office and him are dangerous for you and your baby."
"If you’re expecting, SWITCH DOCTORS IMMEDIATELY. I am a first time expecting mom and my experience with these people were HORRIBLE. Starting from the information keeping, the front desk associates, the relaying of messages down to the going in for certain things that NEEDED to be done at certain times (such as genetics testing and glucose testing) they also had an issue with filing my personal information understanding someone else’s causing me to have to get testing AGAIN. I also didn’t get meet the doctor or was asked if I wanted to until I was 5 months their excuse was “well he’s only here on Wednesdays” (what a way to make a first time pregnant women feel about the person who’s supposed to be delivering your baby feel). They don’t make you feel cared for at all just wana get you in and out. The front desk reps are the WORST with getting ANYTHING done, it always takes several phone calls. I finally drew the line and decided to switch at doctors at 6 months. They claimed to my new doctor that I didn’t get any prenatal genetic testing done so they couldn’t send it over with my medical record only causing me to have to go thru this a third time. I would never recommend these people to anybody and I really wish I can sue them for the experience I’ve hard."
"I had an appointment today for pregnancy confirmation. The wait time was not long. The ultrasound technician was very kind. My problem was the lack of knowledge that the physician assistant displayed. It seemed as though she had not even glanced at my chart. The ultrasound did not see anything, therefore the next discussion was blood testing. Ok, fair l, that makes sense. However, not everyone is able to have flexibility in thier work schedule, when I said I could not call out of work to have my blood tested I was not presented with any actual solutions. I have it documented in my chart and confirmed this visit by the nurse that I have a history of DVT in my IVC. This is considered to be a “ high risk pregnancy factor ”, per my hematologist. It was not addressed once , I brought it up and was told to take 81mg of baby aspirin very nonchalantly. The entire subject was brushed off. The entire interaction was so off putting. I was handed a typed out paper with misspellings and a blank stare, no instructions on where I go to get the blood work done ? I was asked more questions than answers I got. I left that office today horrified. I really don’t think this practice is safe. If you don’t have the knowledge to handle complex issues, and don’t even think of something like I mentioned above as a potential thing that could harm mom and baby, shame on you, do better. Oh the last thing to mention is the unsanitary conditions of the bathroom, there was blood on the paper towel where all of the urine sample cups were stored. And no I’m not talking about paper towel on ones for the hands( there were none) but where the cups are stacked up for you to grab one and pee. Just disgusting. This place is not clean nor competent to help woman."
"This office is incompetent in every way possible from the front desk to the doctors. Misdiagnosed and ended up in the ER. No accountability or care for patients. It's actually shameful and at some point these licenses to practice need to be reviewed. Also it would have just made sense for an ER visit since you'll be in the waiting room for 3 hours anyway. Completely unorganized and rude. Might possibly be worst medical unprofessional experience I've ever had. Avoid at all costs!!!"
