"Let me begin by saying that I've been doing my taxes with Peter for 20 years and he always did a great job. Then, for some reason, beginning last year he became unresponsive and ended up filing my taxes past the deadline. This year, mindful of that experience and not willing to repeat it, I contacted Peter at the beginning of tax season. A month later, he still had not prepared my returns. I contacted him in writing and he said that he would get to it the following week. Two weeks later he stopped responding to my inquiries. Finally, a month later and, once again, getting closer to the deadline without hearing from him, I decided to hire someone else to do my taxes. As I wrote, Peter used to be great, but perhaps now he's getting tired or he's just too busy. Regardless, his behavior was not very professional especially since he is not cheap and I was his client for 20 years. Needless to say, I was really disappointed."
