"I was not impressed with the service the person I saw was not Black or a gyn. I was told I could only see a Gyn after ultrasound and only if I had a documented condition that required attention. I am over 40 have chronic cysts a won’t stop bleeding. I came here hoping to find a doctor who would see me as a woman not a baby maker. They did an ultra sound on the premises (already having my insurance and knowing the plan.) a month later I received a bill for 1200 dollars for an ultrasound because the Gyn who I never saw was in network but tech who did the ultrasound wasn’t. In the end never got to see a GYN AT ALL. Only black person I saw was at reception"

"I love Artemis. My son was brought into this world safely by Dr. Pemberton so she will always be near and dear to my heart. On the other hand, my yearly appointment left me frustrated. I arrived for my yearly, excited to see my midwife. Upon checking in I was informed by the receptionist that my Midwife no longer works there and that I would be scheduled with someone else. I was never notified of her departure and the appointment change. I was forced to schedule with someone else as I took the day off, and it would be difficult for me to come back on another day. When I went in for my appointment a different nurse practitioner walked in the exam room. No explanation on what happened with the person I had requested at the desk. I was not notified of the change. Second inconvenience in one visit… The lack of communication I experienced and others have as well is disheartening."

"This review is long overdue. Besides the sometimes long waits my personal experience was pretty good. A couple of bumps from staff but from my knowledge are no longer there. Everyone else was lovely. Although I didn’t get to meet Dr. Pemberton until the end of my pregnancy, she answered all my questions and make me feel comfortable. I was planning a birth center delivery but I ended up being two weeks overdue so I had to deliver at Mountainside. After a long induction process Dr. P came in and reassured me that everything was fine. My husband and I were worried about baby’s heart rate so we wanted to have a c section. Dr. P made us relax and spoke to us with such calmness and confidence. We ended up having an amazing vaginal birth and I’m so glad she was there for it. Thank GOD for her!!"

"I went to make a my yearly appointment and the ladies at the front desk were great. Then I was told the nurse practitioner that I saw the last time doesn't work there anymore. I schedule with someone else. When I went in for my appointment a different nurse practitioner walked in the exam room. I said Hmm. No explanation on the person I was suppose see. Well, I will not be graphic but the exam was not GENTLE. She was very rough getting the sample for the papsmear. And the exam was longing then normal. I had to write this because I do not want anyone to experience what did."

"Come if if you want to be triple charged, not called back with results, wait on hold forever to schedule or in the patient center and fed the wrong information. Dr. Pemberton is very nice and they have some gems on the staff but I have never trusted an office less. Every time I deal with them there’s some issue that requires me to jump through loops to figure it out. Zero accountability, urgency, or responsiveness."
