"I originally was had appointment for broway office in paterson got a call saying this office closed drove all the way there and he the staff seems unconcerned about processing my taxes very pushy . If you going be pushy dont be lazy same time . H & R block do better."

"I’m kind of confused how such a well known company is so all over the place. I scheduled in Hackettstown, got a call from a tax expert in Wayne, was willing to file through their store and use her but I was unable to assign her to the documents needed for my virtual appointment. Day of appointment comes around and I don’t get a call or text from her, rather a random guy at that office that had no clue I was in communication with the other tax expert. Whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth."

"We had our taxes prepared on March 17. We owed the feds and paid it in the office and that money went through and are owed by the state. It's now August and we still haven't received anything from New Jersey. We called a month ago and were told "NJ is behind" and to call back in a few weeks. ( everyone we know received their refund months ago) We keep checking the state refund status and nothing shows up and can't get through to H&R Block. At this point we are wondering if the preparer even filed or if she's received anything from the state with questions, etc about our return. Highly disappointed in this terrible place! I know we definitely WON'T be coming back here next year!"

"I came here because I was referred by 2 business managers and it was the worst! They told me to ask for Dashema and she was very unpleasant and uninterested. I told her who referred me and she had a attitude and said she wasn’t going to help us and kept throwing us to someone else. The manager quickly ran to tell everyone that she got a referral and praised her. That’s all they cared about was the referral and not helping us. Gave her the credit that obviously she did not deserve! Typical. All she kept saying was “well I wasn’t expecting anyone or told anyone to come” making us feel uncomfortable. At that point, I didn’t even want to do my taxes anymore. I brought my two daughters with me who also wanted to do their taxes. They tried to charge me over $500 to do it for me on another day. It was my first time here and it was the worst experience ever! Both the manager and Dashema were so uninterested. I told both the business managers who referred me about my bad experience and they were both extremely disappointed. I went somewhere else and the minute we walked in we were greeted and offered something to drink. They helped all 3 of us without any wait time or any problems at all. And I didn’t have to pay over $500. First impression is always important. Something you guys will never know anything about since all you care about is your referrals. This place is a scam. I do not recommend."
