"My god brother who has autism attended this school. After being hit by the sensei during the belt ceremony he no longer wanted to attend. The sensi texted her for a monthly payment and registration fee while she was in labor. her husband dropped it off and was asked to sign a contract. I read the messages that acknowledged that a guardian should sign which he was not. he listed my godmom as the guardian which was also known to the school. the contract was never sent home which the sensei acknowledged via text but lied in response to her review that it was sent home for 2 weeks. Thankfully she only communicated using text messages, but I recommend staying away. Consider other schools."

"My son joined iron dragon in march. At the end of June while I was in labor I received communication that his trial was over and I would have to pay the monthly fee and insurance. I sent this information over. At this point Santos has my husband not my son’s guardian sign for me and never sent a contract over. After the belt ceremony where my son was hit after I explained he is autistic, my son and I were no longer interested in continuing. When I communicated that he did not want to continue, I was told to pay out a contract I never signed. I would say consider other classes around where children are not beat and you are not held to unreasonable contracts… also the response that a contract was sent home is false the date the contract was given was the same date I received a text for a monthly payment and registration fee for less than what was on the contract. I usually recommend black owned businesses but I highly recommend Action Karate in Cinnaminson as a better alternative."

"My 5-year old son recently started here and loves it! It has been amazing to watch him be so focused and dedicated to something, which we have never seen before (and this is not his first extracurricular activity). Sensei Santos is a great instructor. He sets high expectations for the kids for how they carry themselves and how serious they are about their craft. We truly admire that in an instructor and think that our son greatly benefits from it. In addition to being more active, the class is teaching him discipline and hard work. I would highly recommend!"

"Pleased to have gotten my child involved in an activity other than ELECTRONICS!!! Additionally, the experience allowed peace of mind as now my child has the ability to protect themselves. Further noted, I witnessed my child participate within structure, routine, give respect as well a little socializing…all needed to help round out. Lastly, the instructor as well as supporting staff displayed patience and discipline during lessons. Great location with plenty of parking. Thank you!!!"

"My 7-year-old son started attending Iron Dragon a few months now and he LOVES it! Before attending, my son began to have behavioral issues at home and school. His guidance counselor suggested an extra-curricular activity and my first thought was Martial Arts because its foundation teaches discipline, confidence, a positive mindset, and positive affirmations. Plus, it's good to have your kid learn how to protect themselves. I noticed the change in my son's behavior and mindset almost immediately! Master Santos is a great instructor and has kids of all ages. He is very stern and expects his students to respect the craft and take it seriously, which is exactly what I was looking for in an instructor. He just advised me yesterday that there is a special: Parent(s) can attend and take classes with their child at a discounted rate. My son currently attends for 1 hour 3 days a week. The prices are the best in the area, also. Other notables: The dojo is clean, in a super convenient area, plenty of parking, and the other parents are cordial and friendly."
