"I stopped in while on vacation. I emailed ahead and was met at the door with a friendly welcome by an instructor. He then introduced me to Bill Scott. Bill was equally as friendly. We talked a bit then he helped me with training partners through out my session. I m dealing with an injury and each time he made sure they were aware of it. The room had a good mix of belts but a lot of experienced upper belts who were all just as friendly asking me where I was from and where I usually train. If you live in then area this is a great place to learn. All the upper belts were technically sound with their jujitsu and very helpful to the lower belts. If you are in the area visiting it’s a great place to train they are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn jujitsu."

"I was down in Belmar vacationing and out of the number of schools down here, this one caught my eye and i decided to roll through on a Thursday morning. I checked out the 9AM HIIT class with Coach Micaela first to loosen up. She had a solid workout lined up and was welcoming, instructive, and pushed everyone in the class. Great energy! The 10AM class had a big turnout and the instructor was insanely attentive and thorough in explaining technique. He came by to offer ways to improve the technique and drilling I was doing with my partner. Every person I rolled with was respectful as hell, upper level belts took the time to discuss technique and work positionals with me, and the owner, Professor Bill Scott, was invested in making sure I had a great experience. Top notch place with deep community roots. I wish I could come train here more often but I will definitely be back every time I'm in the area!"
