"I don't want to be rude but the bulling needs to stop and no one is doing nothing and the school is small"
"Horrible school I live at st George three busses filled with kids from park hill and Stapleton and newbrighton on there way to a school on other side of island full three buses at ferry apparently this school doesn’t check the addresses for proof of zone or doesn’t provide kids school buses they have. Been disrespectful to elderly pushing wheelchairs abusing elderly throwing lotion across bus a horrible example of that school and a disappointment of youth I hope that school get these kids some SCHOOL BUSES IN ST.GEORGE OR STOP ACCEPTING OUT OF ZONE STUDENTS SO PAYING CIVILIZED MEMBERS OF COMMUNITY MAY GO TO WORK"
"This school is terrible! My son has been bullied by the same kids and nothing is being done. One student slapped my son a few times when he had his head down, I went to the school hoping something can be done. I was told that I would get a phone calling about the incident and I never got one. I know my son very well and I know he isn't innocent. He admits to his mistakes and always feels remorseful. Few weeks later this rotten girl kept calling my son names and yelling at him, my son kept his composure and kept on with his work feeling upset at the same time. She kept going until he couldn't keep quiet anymore and nothing was done! I got a call saying my son is very angry and I need to speak to him about his behavior. Meanwhile 1 teacher who was there told me that he kept quiet and they were trying to get him out of character and she doesn't blame my son for reacting the way he did. Again nothing was done. Now my son comes home with a swollen lip. He was going back and forth with a student because he didn't like what was said to him. Then the student said something about me and my son walked up to him and the other student pushed him, so my son pushed him back. The student that slapped him on his neck prior to all of this , gets up and punched my son ,my son fought back. A security guard pulls them both and the student confessed to pushing my son first. What baffles me is I keep getting phone calls saying that my son pushed him and the other kid is a very quiet boy he isn't capable of doing anything. Now they are writing suspension letters to all 3 boys. Now this makes me very upset because my son was slapped few times prior to this incident and they did nothing. Now that my son fights back and defends himself they want to write suspension letters? This school is a joke! I know bullying happens everywhere but I feel they did poorly to avoid certain situations from escalating.. I believe my son! If he pushed him first I know he would tell me because of the bond we have.. one of my close friends niece went to the same school and found out that her hair was cut by a student in that school. Please don't send your children to this school!! They barely give homework and thats another reason why he wont be going back next year!!!"
"It's great they give the students (I'm one of them) access to labtops in every classroom and in the 9th grade they give portable tablets to every student and goes all the way to 3rd grade to 10th grade"
"My daughter complained that the school had no control over it's students, so I immediately came to observe. It is a pretty small school and I find it hard to believe this is a college prep school. This school shouldn't be renewed by NYC Department Of education"
