NM Kung Fu School

NM Kung Fu School, located at 6421 Hudson Avenue in West New York, New Jersey, is a health institution specializing in adult self defense classes. Founded by Sifu Nelson Mendez, who was trained by Paul Vunak in the mid 1980's, the school focuses on teaching Jeet Kune Do, the forerunner of MMA created by Bruce Lee in 1965. With a strong emphasis on Wing Chun, the foundation of Jeet Kune Do, students will learn a variety of martial arts techniques including Jiu Jitsu and grappling. The school offers classes Monday through Friday from 4pm-9pm, Saturday from 11am-1pm, and morning classes by appointment only.
