"This is my wife’s experience with them and it’s very stressful“My son attended this place for about 6-8 weeks, honestly the classes weren't bad! Things got horrible when I decided to end my "52-week" membership. PLEASE rethink your decision before signing the contract because they make it very very very difficult to cancel the membership. You have to send in a certified mail telling them that you'll like to cancel the subscription, which is ridiculous! Once I sent in the certified letter, I received a phone call from them asking why did I want to cancel, when I told the man we had suddenly moved, he told me I need to send in proof of that (like excuse me sir) he then tells me I'll receive another call from them in 3 days because he has to send the letter to their billing company. It's been 3 months that my son hasn't attended & they've been catching me $47 every week! Today I spoke to the same man & I was absolutely furious when he told me I had to wait another Sweeks for a response from their billing to cancel my subscription. Now I understand why the contract says, you cannot go on social media & talk bad about them! Well I am here to tell everyone my experience with these people. They've been charging me every week ($47) for 3 months, and they are making it nearly impossible to cancel!”"

"I am deeply disappointed with the experience my 3-year-old child had. As a parent, I enrolled my little one in their trial karate/taekwondo class with the hope of fostering her interest in martial arts and promoting discipline and focus at a young age. However, the way the situation was handled left a lot to be desired. During the trial class, it was evident that young children like my daughter have a limited attention span. Instead of providing the understanding and patience that one would expect in a program geared towards 3-year-olds (Little Dragons), the instructor asked her to leave the mat because she couldn’t maintain focus. This decision left my child feeling isolated and different from the other kids. As a parent, it was disheartening to witness her enthusiasm crushed instead of being nurtured and encouraged. I firmly believe that if a school offers classes for young children, the instructors should be prepared to handle their unique needs. I urge the school to review their approach when dealing with 3-year-olds. Making them feel unwelcome and isolated is not the right way to handle the situation. Encouragement and support are essential in nurturing their interest in martial arts and creating a positive experience. I hope that my feedback will prompt the school to make the necessary changes to ensure a more inclusive and supportive environment for young children in their classes. Until then, I cannot recommend this school for parents seeking a positive and enriching experience for their little ones. Please reconsider enrolling your 3-year-olds in their program until they improve their approach."

"Family Fitness Karate and Kickboxing are the absolute best! My nine year old daughter loves going to class, especially on Fridays when she gets to spar with her friends. What I love most about Family Fitness is that they teach real fighting and self defense techniques, like in MMA. Thank you Master Vinh, Jerry, and the rest of the staff for being awesome!"

"Honestly the downtown jersey city Family Fitness Karate & Kickboxing location is AMAZING! Master Mike and the rest of our kids mentors are awesome. They learn a lot each day they go! We had the pleasure of having our sons birthday party with family and friends. Both coaches hosting were amazing with all of our guests, especially the cake cutting moment. That was an above and beyond experience that our son will never forget. I would definitely recommend all services offered by Karate Fitness."

"My 5 year old son is a member of Family Fitness K and really enjoys going to class as he learns new techniques every session. He has been going for a few months now and is currently a black and white belt. Not only are the sessions great but the staff here are wonderful! Master Mike and everyone else makes you feel like family. They are very attentive with the children and have great communication skills with them when they are not paying attention. They know how to make everyone feel welcome and always there to answer all my questions. They have many events that brings family together which is why I am glad that my son and I are part of this wonderful place. Recently my son had his 5th bday party here and Master Mike and Jerry were a big part of his celebration as they had each children participate in tug of war, dodgeball, and my baby boy broke a piece of wood with his hand and knee which the children found astonishing! My son was able to hold a real life sword as well. Overall, great place, great people and its all about FAMILY!"
