"I had long wanted to try BJJ and finally did after turning 42. Sheridan BJJ’s coaches, especially Professor Kevin and Marco, are incredibly patient, supportive, and wise. The community is extremely welcoming as well — I’ve consistently received support and generous instruction from guys with advanced belts. Nobody treats white belts like they are a burden — they see white belts as part of the community, and are invested in white belts learning and growing. So it’s been a great experience learning something totally new — and fun — in my 40s. Highly recommend!"
