"Teams not competitive; Coaches don't really care; Where to begin? Have lost sight of the reasons why parents bring their kids to an organization like this. Seems like it's become all about money to keep the gravy train going. Prices have been steadily going up while quality of the program has decreased. They don't allow parents into the facility during practices. The org preaches about focusing on the individual but that is just not true. Politics of who spends more for individual coaching will get your kid more playing time and better positions on the field. There are tons of examples of kids who are just NOT improving from season to season and coaches seemingly never offer advice or help to these kids. Coaches do little during games in terms of strategy and don't care about winning but on focusing on "individual progress". That's their message but it's not reality. Arrogant coach/manager says "If you don't like something, there's the door" Opposing teams always have multiple coaches helping their kids and coaching throughout the game. With UB you're lucky if you get 2 coaches to show up who make decisions that cost your team the game. Then they'll have a 10 minute B&M session at the end of a game saying "We should've done this and we should've done that better and then maybe we would have won the game." It's all BS. They have Blast Motion, and other "apps" they ask parents to buy/use but they never utilize it to help kids improve individually as they say. They promote and push multiple classes which have no effect on kids' improvement and are overpriced and of little value. Lack of a permanent practice field has become a real problem as games are almost always lost due to errors on the field. They want to nickel and dime you by monetizing every aspect of baseball (Separate hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, strength/conditioning classes with separate fees) They spread themselves too thin with a small facility that they try to keep packed every day/time of the week with a softball team and multiple levels of teams from 9u-14u and above which only allows them to offer 1 hour practices twice a week and maybe an on field practice other days even renting out space/time to other local travel/school teams. Find a team that is real serious about competitive baseball and less about the $ and you'll have a better experience. Higher priced doesn't always mean better. If it's all about the money it's not about improving your kid's level of play. Their mission statement should read "You won't win, BUT WE WILL!""
"My son did the 8 week program and enjoyed it. The coaches made it fun by having the kids compete against each other in hitting games."
"Terrible experience. They claim they're all about development. That's a lie. There's no individual instruction. They're abusive toward the kids. They have all these analytics that they never use. Stay away at all costs. They're much more interested in their social media posts than developing baseball skills. A fraud."
"I'm surprised I haven't reviewed Gamers/Untamed Before. Our experience here has been nothing short of excellent. Unlike some clubs that go "Trophy Hunting" the coaches, trainers and staff genuinely care about their players. The focus is on training, not winning; for if you train well, work hard and listen to the coaches, improvement is a given and wins will come. My son is very quiet and works hard - thanks to Coaches like Mike, Frank, Del, John, Pat and Andy he's become a BEAST. He's thoroughly enjoying himself, and continues to improve As a parent you can't ask for more than this. After this last season, I'm now convinced my son can play at the high school level. That is a victory unto itself!"
"Outstanding baseball school - best instructors I have seen - my kid formed his solid baseball skills at Gamers since he was 9 years old. Great attitude and professionalism."
