"I started attending the Blue Dragon School Chi Gung classes when I was 66 years old. In the beginning I would be out of breath after the warm ups we do at the beginning of each class. Now at 74 I get through the entire class without being out of breath although the workout can be quite challenging. The movements are slow and you perform them at whatever level you can. The art increases your balance, stamina, coordination and range of motion. I am very happy to have found such a great school with helpful instructors. I intend to continue taking these classes as long as I am able to. I recommend this school to anyone of any age who wants to improve their health, maintain their physical abilities and benefit from the meditation which is also part of each class. George Cooke"

"I started sending my son about 3 months ago. He was initially resistant but started enjoying there lately. My issue is really with their attitude towards other siblings who have to wait in the small area while their older sibling is in the class. They would expect a 2-3 year old to sit quietly, not play, not touch the rocks while looking at fish, not play. Basically, they don't want them there. I as a parent try my best to keep the situation in control and often take my kid out to maintain the peace, but the staff there is very impolite god forbid your child acts like one. They would shame you publicly, be rude and even ask you to take your money and go elsewhere. If you wear uniform 99% of the time, and couldn't wear once, the child is nagged at in front of others. If you have one child, ok. If you have another one waiting, avoid this place."

"With eight years of prior experience with an amazing martial arts teacher, my standards are set pretty high. Every standard I have has been matched or exceeded at this school. The quality of the art is matched only by the quality of the teaching. The atmosphere inside this school is peaceful, respectful and loving. All the instructors, from the chief instructor down, care about every single student and understand that every student is different and has different needs. The curriculum is organized in such a way as to help the student grow physically, mentally and emotionally. After four months of studying here in both the kung-fu and the qi-gong classes, I have noticed increased energy, better focus, fewer body pains, and even improved eyesight (currently only for about fifteen minutes after the class ends, but that's still pretty cool, isn't it?). I highly recommend this school to anyone interested - whether you have prior experience or not, young or old, no matter. You will benefit."
