The Gym Maplewood is a year-round training facility located on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, New Jersey, serving both Maplewood and South Orange residents. Our 3400 sq. ft. bright and open space is perfect for parents and kids to stay active together. With indoor turf for youth sports programs and gym equipment for parents, everyone can stay active while waiting for young athletes.
We offer a range of services including Sports Coaching and Clinics, Personal Training, Functional Sports Therapy, and Conditioning Training for individuals and teams. Our goal is to provide quality sports instruction in a clean, fun, and safe environment, catering to all skill levels.
In addition to our services, we host events such as the South Orange Men Softball League ALL-STAR Game. "Tim is, in short, AMAZING! I went to see him bc I was having issues with my right shoulder brought on by overuse/strain. He was recommended to me as a shoulder expert and someone to go see before I went to a very expensive orthopedist. I had no idea what to expect because I wasn't sure what was wrong with me--but I was in a great deal of pain. I was with him for less than four minutes when I was already diagnosed and he set to work on loosening my adhesion. He worked it out a handful of minutes later, gave me stretches to do at home to loosen up the surrounding muscles and sent me off feeling almost totally better within the hour. I can't say enough good things! Run don't walk to Tim! :-)"
"This should be called The Gem of Maplewood! In all seriousness, great great place with very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff ! Tim is the absolute best and you feel welcomed since the first moment! Highly recommended, especially for ex athletes like myself who are trying to get fit again or for first timers who might feel intimidated by the big gyms. This is a very good and different concept where it makes you want to go to the gym rather than skip it."
