"This place was a nice change from your typical steakhouse - cozy and intimate with a distinct Brooklyn vibe. Steaks were great - had the strip steak and a veal chop on special both perfectly cooked and served with nice sauces. The pan fried mashed potatoes were also excellent. A nice evening out."
"We called to visit before we leave and they explained well to us in advance the exact waiting time and even explained the slight delay in the middle by the phone. they have another bar next to this restaurant, which was great atmosphere, so even we arrived early we could wait there. Hanger Steak was amazing and so does lamb. we seat at the bar so we could feel the atmosphere and The person working there, especially at the bar, he was very friendly so we totally enjoyed our dinner and atmosphere. I definitely recommend!!!"
"I would say this is a hipster steakhouse. Which isn’t a bad thing. The vibe is cozy. I didn’t enjoy the table we sat in being that it’s right by the entrance. You feel the cold air whenever the door is opened. Plus having people stand and wait right behind you can get annoying real quick. The food was amazing though. The sourdough bread was good but wished it came out warm. NY strip was delicious. The pan fried mashed potatoes were a stand out! The portions are decent. Usually there’s always left overs to take home when visiting a steakhouse. This wasn’t the case. Everyone ate their plate clean! I’d visit again."
"Made the trek out to Brooklyn specifically to check out the Butchers steak. Well worth the ride. The steak is a very good value and very flavorful. I liked the space, and the service was great. Very comforting time for brunch with peeps."
