Reviews of Hands to Paws
"I just had my initial consult with Dr Varga and I can't say enough nice things about Dr Varga. I'm familiar with holistic healing so I was anxious to get an appointment. Dr Varga is thorough, kind and knowledgeable. I reached out to her because I recently noticed one of my elderly fur babies was starting to decline quickly. Dr Varga reviewed my pup's medical history, reviewed my patient forms completely, explained everything she picked up from her session and laid out a detailed and thorough care plan. I immediately acted on her instructions because my pup wasn't eating much. She recommended to me what to do, and when I placed the food down in front of my pup, she gobbled it up! She's 16 and I know won't live forever as much as I wish she could, but this first step in the right direction with her eating was monumental for me. I can't wait for her next treatment to see what the next positive step in improving her quality of life will be. Thank you Dr. Varga, and I look forward to working with you!"
"I had a horrible experience with this woman. I fully believe she does not actually care about your animal but instead just the obscene amount of money she charges for her services. She is not compassionate with the pet owner and gets frustrated if you have questions and god forbid she needs to repeat herself; she DOES NOT like to be questioned which as a pet owner paying a lot of money you have every right to ask as many questions as you like. If you have a phone conversation with her you will not get a word in edgewise as she bulldozes right over you. Having two chronically ill cats I have dealt with a lot of vets and she is by far the worst experience I have had. I spent over a thousand dollars on her services and I cannot say she has really helped my cats. If you have a phone consult with her she will send you info to read before hand which being a teacher and a good student , I of course did . The 490 dollars I spent on the hour and a half phone consult was really not personalized towards my cats and spent with her only reiterating what the info she sent said. When you get your hair analysis results back ( she will use a generic handout and then insert the occasional more personalized info about your pet to make it seem like the price was worth it). She is very very rough around the edges. She is heavy handed and callous about how she treats a loving and concerned pet owner. The only reason there is even one star is because Google would not let me submit without at least one star. Zero stars lady."
"My dog was diagnosed with diabetes 1 1/2 years ago- we finally had his blood sugars under control when he suffered complications from cataracts and became blind. His appetite decreased, and his blood sugars were out of control. Dr Varga worked with him through acupuncture and energy healing and now his blood sugars are pristine and I am having no further issues with his appetite. He is happy and energetic and back to himself. I feel she was an instrumental part in his healing. She is very gentle and kind and I highly recommend her."
"Dr Varga is amazing! My thirteen year old dachshund, Maxie, was unable to use her front legs due to herniated disks in her neck. The day after the first acupuncture treatment she was able to use her legs and actually walk!! Remarkable!! Dr Varga has a soothing and comforting way to put your animal at ease. I highly recommend her to help your furry friend!"
"Let me start out with this: remote healing is real. It might have been a little easier for me to embrace this modality, because I have the ability to converse with animals telepathically. Still, I was somewhat skeptical. But it’s real, and it’s effective. Our dog Sable came to us at 8 years old, with two torn ACLs and a slew of anxieties. Some of her anxieties did not emerge until some time later, when she encountered a terrible thunderstorm while home alone. She freaked and we had no idea that would happen. Meanwhile, she also developed a distinct aversion to riding in the car, which seemed to have to do with nausea (anxiety caused, perhaps?). I had heard of Dr. Varga and that she did remote healing. Well, that worked for me, because Sable didn’t want to travel and she needed some extra help to alleviate some of that anxiety. Over the time of her treatments, she has become calmer and we have learned how to better help her. She rides in the car again. Thunder and fireworks are not the great enemy they used to be, though we do still try to be home if we know in advance that these things are coming. She is a happy dog. Our other dog, Memphis, came to us at one year old (just a week after Sable came). Memphis came from Georgia and was rescued with his brother from a kill shelter. His main issue has been separation anxiety. We are still in the early stages of his treatments. There were some surprises along the way that confirmed the power of this treatment method. For Sable, it was an all-over achy feeling that followed some of her early treatments. She just plain didn’t feel good and it was because of the great amount of toxicity leaving her body. For Memphis, it was vomiting. That was his way of ejecting the toxicity. I share these things as a reality check in two senses: 1. The healing energy has an observable physical effect. 2. The healing process isn’t always pretty! But the end result is good. At 11 ½ and 4 ½ Memphis and Sable are both happy healthy dogs. They both still have issues, but don’t we all? Dr. Varga is a kind, compassionate and competent healer who cares about the animals and their people. She is always ready to respond to questions and concerns and explains things very thoroughly. I highly recommend this healing process and this doctor."
