"Hate to be that guy, but if you're white, light skinned Hispanic, Chasidic Jewish or anything else lacking melanin, expect terrible treatment from the ladies who work at the return counter, customer service and by the self checkout. It's plain as day the way they treat customers based on their hue. Earlier tonight, I had a contentious encounter with a very nasty security guard. As the loud and vulgar guard escalated things with her terrible language, a tall grotesque woman with a curly red weave that made her look like the love child of Ronald McDonald and "Big Worm" from Friday was instigating instead of diffusing. And this isn't the first time that very same woman has given me trouble. She was very condescending and obstinate many times before including one time when I tried like return something. She clearly treats white customers with contempt. Worst Home Depot in the NYC area"
"I am a loyal HD customer. Shopped HD exclusively when I lived in Las Vegas and San diego. Although big & friendly staff, I've been disappointed 2 x and I have only been here 4 times. The first disappointment was when I was trying to get a smart home product but it was locked in the cage and the only person who had the key had gone to lunch. It took me 20 minutes of waiting around before I found that out. I ended up buying it online. The 2nd time I needed assistance and I kept getting shuffled from one associate to the next. I will still go here for things I need, but if I don't need it right away I will order online."
"We all have had bad experiences at stores. But wow! Oh My! I have never been or seen any group of employees that don't want to work at all. Those that work at customer service, be thankful that Home Depot gave you all jobs despite being so rude and lazy. Parking Lot gets creepy fast as there are unwanted solicitors watching you from entrance in groups (2 to 4 people) to offer you service. If you are alone visiting here go to some other stores with more open parking spaces. Don't bother the employees that are supposed to help you as they treat you as if you don't exist."
"Garden center is well stocked. Update : terrible customer service, waited 15 minutes for shades to be cut. Only one cash line, all others self checkout. Rude, uninterested employees. We were picking out 2 garbage cans and the AH tells us we have to leave the aisle. I said yeah, as soon as I take these 2 cans. Why don't you help?"
