"I highly recommend this dry cleaners, the service is phenomenal!!!! I had an emergency and needed my clothes cleaned for next day pick up. I understand the turn around time for drop off/cleaning/pick up can be a few days out, When I tell you Lapels went over and beyond to dry clean my clothes and they were available the next day for pick up! I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT THATS PHENOMENAL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ME!!!!"
"I dont even know where to begin. I will start by saying that my experience using this dry cleaner has been a living nightmare. Paul, the owner, doesnt care about his customers and he is very irresponsible and impossible to get a hold of. You have handled this situation so poorly. Since WE NEVER received a response from you, you leave us with no choice but to share our experience. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE, and i will tell you why. If your items get damaged here, the owner Paul will not take responsibility. Getting a response from him is like pulling teeth. I will share why: We dropped off our coats (two Canada Goose coats) in perfect conditions on November 17th and I was informed the coats would be ready after the 22nd in the evening. We had used Lapes in the past to dry clean our Canada Goose coats. The first time, it wasn't an issue. We picked up our coats on Monday November 23,2023. When I got home and removed the plastic and hangers, I immediately saw that there was something wrong with both coats. The coats were damaged. The fur shrunk, the hoods of both coats were enlarged to a point that it covers our whole face completely! The feathers were gone, and both coats appeared to be “shells”, thin, without any insulation. Nicole stated she “doesnt have his cell phone number”. We received an email from Paul stating to bring the coats back “for us to fix”. We dropped off the coats on November 29th, days go by and we dont hear from him or his business. We called twice on 12/02/23 and left a voicemail at the Dry cleaner because no one picked up the phone during business hours. We sent him an email as well. No answer. We provided our cell phone number for him to call us since getting him to respond to an email takes several days or he simply ignores you and wont respond! On the December 07th after ignoring several emails that our coats were ready to be picked up. The coats are in worst condition now. We sent him an email informing him about the situation. We provided Paul with the option to refund us for our coats or to provide us with some type of resolution from damaging our coats. On Monday December 11, 2023 we emailed him in the morning that we had filed with Small Claims Court since we never heard from him. He left us with no choice. He emailed back Monday at 8pm after we sent him three emails from Friday until Monday. Paul wrote “we could have done an insurance claim for the items”. SERIOUSLY??!! BUT YOU NEVER ANSWERED OUR EMAIL, YOU DONT ANSWER YOUR BUSINESS PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS, YOU HAD OUR NUMBER AND NEVER CALLED US TO OFFER US THIS OPTION! Paul stated Lapels Corporate “will be reaching out”. Two full business days have gone by and no one has reached out. We informed Paul on the 11th and the 12th of December that we were interested in doing the insurance claim since this option was NEVER PROVIDED by him. We informed Paul that going to court was our last resort and we wanted to fix this outside of court. The few times Paul responded was from his email from his phone. There is simply no excuse for this lack of communication. Especially when you have access to your email from your phone. The few times you responded was to tell us you were on a “business trip”, a phone call to make things right doesn’t take more than 10 minutes, responding to an email at the comfort of your home doesn't even take 5 minutes. We wasted so much time driving to Lapels Dry cleaner for nothing, we wasted so much time chasing after Paul for a solution when he should he the one reaching out to offer a solution and take full responsibility from damaging our coats. Not one, but two coats. You left us without winter coats, Canada Goose coats are worth over one thousand dollars and only took $20 for you to ruin them because according to Nicole, you are the one that dry cleans the coats. This situation has caused us unnecessary spending because our coats have to be replaced, The amount of 1 star reviews you have on Google and on Yelp should have been a red flag! Sharing before and after pictures!"
"My experience with Lapel’s is very positive. In fact, it is my the best dry clean service experience ever! The clothes do not have the toxic chemical’s smell. The quality of cleaning is outstanding . The business I used before was loosing my clothes. That’s why I switched to Lapel’s. They are reliable and they send me a text to remind to pick up my order."
"I wanted to love this place because it is so conveniently close to my house but I brought a very nice coat in to be dry cleaned because it had a lot of little lint balls that had built up on it and a little dirt on the collar… when I picked up the coat though it was as if nothing was done to it.. I was confused. So long story short I had to order a lint shaver for 12$ on Amazon and washed it and now it looks brand new so unfortunately I feel I wasted my money on bringing my coat here. It seems like if they did anything to it, it was that they just simply washed it."
