"DON'T USE LANE MECHANICAL. In good faith I paid in full to fix my furnace / AC and I've been chasing him to complete for 6 months. Multiple no show appts and does not replay to phone / text."

"We have had nothing but problems with the hvac system Lane put in our home. Our new furnace Lane mechanical installed was faulty and had to be replaced, which after numerous calls spanning over months was eventually replaced. Now the new system Lane installed does not work properly and the heat does not get above 62 degrees. We have called the company numerous times for a service call, as per our contract we have 5 years parts and labor on the system. The company has been totally unresponsive and our heat still isn’t working properly. Lane is good to come out and replace a system for thousands of dollars, however, they DO NOT stand by their warranty. Better Business Bureau lists this company as no longer in service, so there is no remedy through BBB."

"I hired Lane Mechanical to put in a new central a/c system. The work went on schedule while Lou was getting his money. There were some things that needed to be corrected along the way but it was fine. When the system was up and running the contract stated that final payment is to be made. But there were many things that needed to be corrected including sheet rock repair, failed inspection, and some other minor items. I made the final payment in good faith trusting that Lou would take care of the items. After many phone calls and emails he finally came back to address the inspection issues and the other minor issues(minus one thing). Unfortunately, after many more phone calls and emails regarding the sheet rock repair he has disappeared. If you hire Lane Mechanical do not give him final payment until inspection is completed and there is 100% satisfaction. Have it all included in the contract prior. He only received 3 stars because his guys were nice, respectful, and skilled. They just seemed to lack direction from Lou at times. Anyway, I was very disappointed with how I was treated after I made final payment. Update: I have had the system all summer and have been experiencing breathing problems. When they originally installed the system they placed the wrong size filter in the air handler. They came back and promised me that they replaced and fixed it. I just checked and they jammed the old filter in and it fell to the bottom on the handler. They lied to me. So basically I have been breathing in dirty air all summer and now have breathing issues. The doctors I have seen dont know how to diagnose me. Well now they know. Do not hire this company."

"So glad we stumbled on Lane Mechanical. Lou was quick to come over and evaluate our HVAC when we discovered the old oil furnace on our fixer upper would end up burning the house down. We got great advice and a great price on converting to gas and adding A/C. The install crew (Ken, Jason, Phil and Paul) were top notch. They did a great job, nice and neatly installed, everything tucked away and cleaned up afterward. We will not hesitate to use Lane again and recommend them to everyone. Thanks guys."

Installers were courteous, neat and careful removing the old heating and air conditioning unit and installing the new units. Louie responded to my phone call immediately and had workers to my house at my convenience within a few days. The arrived at the time scheduled and worked hard throughout the day.
