"This was the first time I ever worked as a lifeguard and I have to say that from the moment American Pool promised me a Summer job, they supported me 100%. I received thorough and up-to-date theoretical and practical training. All the supervisors and support staff were knowledgeable and attentive to my professional needs, and helped me throughout the whole hiring and training process. A special shout out to Josué who was always readily available to answer any of my questions on the job during the entire 2023 Summer! A wonderful experience!"

"Even though I’ve only worked for one summer, American Pools was a great experience for me. The staff is very nice and the hours are great if you want to work a lot. I’ve never had any problems with getting paid on time and the staff is very attentive to the needs of patrons and their coworkers. American Pools takes safety protocols extremely seriously and has short breaks at the top of the hour to ensure the lifeguard’s safety (such as hydrating, using the restroom, eating a snack, etc.). Above all that, the pay is also great for the work load. Thank you American Pools for an amazing summer!"

"Working for this company they were very professional, had good communication and were enjoyable to work for. Amarican pool cares about their employees and their clients. When there is an issue at the pool they send over supervisors in a timely matter. The residents at my pool for the most part were nice, although I did have a few rude residents here and there. But in all I would definitely work for this company again and had a good summer working for them."

"This was my first year working for American Pools as a lifeguard. The staff always made me feel heard and that my well being was important to them. I never felt judged or never felt severe stress because of the staff. My schedule was always consistent, along with a heads up if my schedule was different. It was a great summer and I would definitely recommend this job to others next summer."

"American Pool is a really good company that offers a huge variety of jobs for people of all different skill levels, including myself. A high school student who just wants to make some money and get some work experience for their future and college. American Pool has great incentives to join, including their amazing referral program, competitive pay that scales based upon age and experience along with many other factors. They also train for free if you really want to work! You can become a lifeguard and slowly rise in the hierarchy with determination and quality work. Using your phone on the stand will not allow for any kind of promotion and rather it will result in some kind of punishment and termination. I would come to work for this company again next year and in future years when I am in college and am looking for money. Chrissy, Mike, and Sean are great staffing representatives who make working at this company a breeze and understand when you have emergencies and can’t work. Personally I think that Chrissy deserves a raise because she was very helpful for me and was with me throughout the whole hiring process until the point I started to get paid."
