"The financial aid is horrendous and the STEM programs (other than PA or Pharm) are abysmal. Alison Hyslop is a tenured Chemistry professor who refused to provide educational materials unless we gave her favorable reviews on ratemyprofessor. Her ratings were low for a reason. When I went to the department to complain about paying 40k a year to have a professor try and bribe me for material in courses I’m paying for, they showed me they could not care less. Nothing was done about this reprehensible action. In terms of financial aid, they stuck me with a 14k loan that I never accepted or requested for a summer session. Just a horrific money hungry institution. All they care about is money and their basketball team. It’s actually laughable that they claim to operate with Catholic ideals and Saint John in mind."

"DO NOT GO FOR A TOUR!! There is no signs or whatsoever! This is horrible. To be honest, I was made fun of at this school! It is a 30 mins walk from the Subway station. Once I arrived on campus, there was NO SIGN at all or maps guiding you toward the GRADUATE ADMISSION OFFICE/BUILDING. On top of walking for 30 mins, plus getting lost trying to find the graduate admission office for 20 mins for my tour, I had to give up! I even call the office letting them know that I am lost but on the lawn unable to find the graduate office. I had to give up. Since it took me 2h30 trip from NJ to this school, I saw the UNDERGRADUATE office and went there asking to use th restroom and told them about my ordeal. She gave me a notebook to make me feel better and asked me if I wanted to go for a tour, I said NO that I am exhausted already. She wanted me to talk to a counselor and I was telling her that there should be signs guiding students with arrows for their tour or at least to the graduate office because none of the building concrete maps showed you the graduate admission office and this is flawed! She was telling to the counselor and he laughed at me. To be honest I did not like his behavior and I told him I don’t have questions and I just wanted to go home. All the universities in NJ have signs for campus tour to guide students and this was just common sense. He didn’t have to ridiculise me. I am very disappointed"

"Great location, right in middle of Airport, Long Island, and Manhattan in a quiet upper middle class neighborhood. Campus food sucks, but there’s a lot of great restaurants in surrounding area. Use EVERY resources the school gives you. This school LOVES putting people in debt, those interest rates will hunt you years after graduation, therefore make every effort to utilize their resources and time. CONNECTION is everything. Good luck, and make the most out of it."
