"I opened 2 accounts almost 30 years ago at this location. Even though I moved away, I stayed with the bank only because of their excellent customer service provided by Ms. Shannon Jefferys. What an asset she is to that branch!"
"Small branch of this regional community bank. Adequate free parking. The lobby and drive-in were both open when I visited. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive to my needs."
"Patti Parish is the best! I love this bank, everyone is very helpful"
"I have to say I'm a bit perplexed and pretty annoyed at this South Plainfield branch. This branch has been "temporarily closed" for a few weeks now. It looks like they are doing renovations. Earlier in the year, back on 3/10/20, Columbia bank sent emails regarding the corona virus and banking. They kept us informed for months via email regarding temporary branch closures and lobby hours, etc. They let us know when to call for an appointment for lobby hours, senior hours, etc. They were really good at keeping their customers informed. Back in June 2020 they emailed customers to let us know of an upcoming closure in July (bank was closing at 3 pm on a Friday and not re-opening until Monday morning 9 am). All of that was very impressive. As a customer I truly appreciated the emails and notices. I really felt that I could Count on Columbia and was part of their family as a customer. This all changed in November when suddenly the lobby of this branch was closed, drive up was open for about a week and then the whole bank shut down for these "renovations". Where was the email?? Why weren't customers advised and notified?? Myself and MANY other customers that I have talked to about this all went to the bank only to find a massive amount of utility trucks there and a small note on the front door advising us of this "temporary" closure and advising us to either go to the Edison branch or the Colonia branch. Once again....where was the ADVANCE notice (just like in June for the July closure) and just like all along during the beginning of the pandemic?? Very unhappy and dissatisfied that customers were NOT advised in advance of what was happening at this branch so that we could make other arrangements to do our daily and holiday banking. Sad"
"I have been a customer for this bank and never had any problem. Everyone here are respectful and helpful. Thanks."
