Following a camera inspection, Chris came over to our home, sat down with us, and broke down the plan to us for his recommendation for a path forward. "My utility room sink was often clogged and I got this company's information from my neighbor. In the evening of 6/11, the pipe below the sink broke, so I called them. Veronica picked up, I explained it was the pipe under the kitchen, not bathroom. She told me it is not emergency sewage problem, but they could sent a team to fix it next morning. So the team (Joe and Tony) came next morning, very friendly but apparently no prior knowledge of my problem. They were actually 40 minutes late because they went to a wrong town. They sounded very professional, went in and check, immediately told me they ONLY cover sewage problems and I need a plumber instead. But the company requires to charge $170 fee. I asked them to refer a plumber. Then they called the boss, then the boss told them they could do a scan for me, with a total price of $350. I was in the middle of urgent assignment and wanted the problem fixed, and they explained to me the scan would help for sure. So I told them to go ahead. Then they spent about 10 minutes to put some tapes on my floor and that was it which was laughed out loud by the plumber who helped me solve my problem later. So I gave the money to Joe and Tony, telling them "your boss is very smart, can make money out of nothing." First of all, as a professional company, they should already know if they cover the issue or not over the phone, instead of sending someone no matter how, to collect the $170 fee. Secondly, knowing exactly it is not going to help, and offering the extra service to charge $350, is not honest. I don't know how good they can do big projects, but I don't trust the motivation of the business model: it is not for solving problems for customers, but for maximizing their own profit for doing the least, or nothing. Keep the $350, and live large with it."

"Dutra was recommended to me from my plumber who has been working with them for over 20years. They did not disappoint. I worked with Chris one of the owners who was very responsive, answered all my questions, explained the process in detail and eased my mind. He went above and beyond to make me feel at ease in such a stressful situation (my sewer pipe bursting in my basement and having to fix the entire line to street) as well as get everything done as quickly as possible. The entire team was kind, respectful and professional. They got the work done much faster than i anticipated, even after some unforeseen issues arising. They cleaned up my property nicely too and aside from a small patch of grass that they reseeded for me, it looks like nothing was done at all. Highly recommend. I will be keeping them on list for emergency's although i really hope i never need to call again! :)"

Mike and his team were on it- even on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend- our main sewer pipe was crushed and once Dutra came in to evaluate -we had a working system again in 3 days. They had to dig under our driveway with major equipment and replace pipes. They were professional and efficient and so helpful! I recommend them without hesitation."
