"We were looking for a plumber to install a gas line for a new inground pool. We contacted several plumbers of which some would not even consider touching. Not only did Chris return our call but came out the very next day (we are in Orange County, he is in Rockland County not exactly close). Within 2 days we received a typed itemized bid throughly explaining exactly how he would handle the job. His quote was a little higher than some others but you could tell he knew what he was doing. We were so happy that we chose Raffa Plumbing they dealt directly with NYSEG and went above and beyond. I would recommend Chris and his company to everyone!"
"Raffa plumbing took care of a bathroom debacle. Rob showed up quickly to resolve the issue. He brought levity to a stressful situation. Rob is a skilled professional who has integrity. Would recommend their services. Thank you! Jill F"
"Their technicians are incredible...their warranty isn't worth anything. Had an A/C service done in 2018, and less than one week later the system I was told was fine stopped working. The tech wanted to do the right thing but the boss Chris said he didn't care and to charge for another service call. Fast forward to last week, and a pair of shower valves they fixed 9 months ago failed. Again the tech wanted to do the right thing, but, I was told, again by the boss Chris, and I quote "it's an old house and I don't want to be married to the warranty." Be very careful if you actually want a warranty. I can't give zero stars, otherwise I would."
"Won't return for warranty issues and what's worse won't respond."
"I initially called Raffa to maintain my boiler. It turned out that the boiler was releasing a high level of Carbon Monoxide. I called Con Ed O&R who confirmed that it was off the chart. I had to shop for a new boiler. My Tech, Rob told me that Chris Raffa would give me a quote. Chris sent me a very thorough quote which included all the materials and labor. There were zero surprises. I got 4 other quotes. These quotes involved not only the same material but the same boiler in 2 cases. One guy wrote a quote vaguely on my wife's notepad ($2400 more). One guy sent me a quote with 10.15% tax on labor. Raffa was by far the lowest. 2 gentlemen came and installed the boiler. Rob was super helpful to my wife. Everything went seamlessly and there were no surprises. This is the best outcome that a person can ask for. I'm very happy with Raffa and how they work."
