Reviews of Irene's
"Do not buy an iguana from this store, they are housed in horrible conditions. They had atleast 20 or more iguanas in (Maybe 10 or 20 gallons) tank crawling all over eachother. My fiance and I baught one this past weekend, never owning one before, they gave us all the wrong information on how to take care of her. I'm glad we went to a pet store when we got home and got all the correct information or this little girl wouldn't have survived. Will never be going back to this store, they just want your money. I hope animal control shuts this store down."
"This place is disgusting. The way they keep their iguanas is horrendous and they should be so ashamed of themselves. If you’re going to sell animals at least have some basic idea of what they require to survive. This place is truly gross."
"The iguanas are completely too young to be sold, overcrowded and piled in with each other on heat rocks. Anyone with any sort of herpetology knowledge or a simple google search can see how heat rocks burn many animals and quite severely, they are not recommended. The hermit crabs are all piled in and overcrowded as well. The animals are very sickly looking and likely dying. It is clear by the set ups and ages, that care of these creatures is not the goal, but of course making a profit. Iguanas are pets for 20+ years, and these guys probably won’t make it past a month."
"Way to sell completely malnourished unhealthy iguanas to people who dont even know how to handle an animal that gets 4ft and are known to be aggressive as they age. These poor babies are going to end up dead, or dumped when they get bigger or the first time they tail whip someone. Totally irresponsible of you and it makes me sick what you would do to make a buck"
