"Slammed my finger in a door and bent my ring back in March when the virus shutdown first started. Merten's reopened and I went in to have it repaired. The jeweler who waited on me rounded my ring back out in no time and didn't charge me a dime! After having no income for 3 months, she didn't charge me a thing for her time. This is what personalized customer service is all about from a business who wants to gain your trust and loyalty, not overcharge. I've used Merten's to have watch batteries replaced in the past but now I'll bring all my business to them. Now here's the fun part: I'm not going to leave a negative comment on the Google site of the other jeweler I went to first, but I'll tell you what happened there. I went to the high-end diamond store up the street. They wanted to charge me $50 to repair the ring but said the stones were loose, then suggested I get a new setting and could sell me one for $260. I told the clerk I would think about that, then I went to Merten's. I never told the jeweler there that the stones might be loose, I wanted to see what they would say. I watched as she repaired the ring, gave it a going-over, and checked the stones and prongs. She handed it back to me with no mention of loose stones."
