"I had a mint wellness account and canceled it, they literally did not help me with anything. Every single time I went to the vet I paid out of pocket for everything . I called to cancel and asked for a refund and the lady just said we don’t give refunds, and that was it and I said even though you guys haven’t helped me at all? and she just repeated, we don’t give refunds. That’s insane ."

"Very limited in network options in Colorado; as far as I can tell they have no partners in CO for 24/7 care. If your pet requires hospitalization or an ER visit, you are out of luck. When our cat suddenly got sick none of the in-network clinics offered inpatient services, so we ended up going to an out of network hospital and having to pay entirely out of pocket. We were not able to contact Pet Assure for guidance while our cat was having an emergency, as there office closes 0400 pm RMT, but when we were able to contact them the next day we told we were not covered. When I asked what we should have done if there are no in network hospitals with 24HR care within 300 miles, they could provide no answer. I would skip this plan if you are in CO and save your money. It is basically a scam as they are advertising services that they cannot provide."

"Works if the vet is willing to honor the policy rules. My local vet clinic accepts it, but I find that the pick and choose what they discount. I understand things like labwork that needs to be sent out is not covered or meds, I'm fine with that. But several times, they did not discount routine in clinic service. I contacted pet assure and they directed me to clinic supervisor and refunded me the difference. They said if I have any issues to find the person. Its a hassle trying to find someone when all the staff is super busy or not there. Also it seems like most clinics strongly dislike accepting it since they do not get reimbursed for it."

"I signed up for the service because 25% off everything sounded awesome. Despite their claim that Pet Assure is accepted by lots of vets, no vets in my area accept it. They thought they did, telling me that I’d have to file a claim with the company but when I called the company I was told I should be able to scan the card at the place if they were a participant. This could’ve been a great service that I’d have enjoyed using, but I cancelled because I can’t use it."

"I love getting 25% off immediately at the vet. No deductibles, no reimbursements, etc....just the discount at the time of service as I'm paying at the vet office. Much better than traditional pet insurance! I used this for my last cat for years, and am now using it for my current cat. I also found my favorite vet thanks to Pet Assure, when I was looking up vet offices that accept it!"
