Reviews of Mazzat
"I have had dinner here many times with friends. It never disappoints. The staff is very friendly. Jay is usually our waiter and always has great suggestions. The chef is excellent. The hummus is the best i ever tasted."
"We randomly picked this place for dinner on our way to a concert, and it turned out to be a great place! Cozy romantic atmosphere, great service, delicious food."
"Cute spot on the corner. Quiet neighborhood. I walked there from my hotel and it was safe and cute around. Nice menu, good service and wine, I order hummus to start and fresh fish. I asked for gluten free options for appetizers and confirmed it with my meal. I asked there were any gf dessert options and she thought for a while. Then I asked if there was ice cream and I was given options and dove in the gooey chocolate. It was too gooey good. I asked half way through if it was gf? Waitress said she tried to find out but didn’t know. The bartender overheard me and went and looked. He found the ingredients and in fact it did have a small amount of gluten. I’m traveled to town for a business meeting. I’m so severely allergic that usually my mental capacity is prohibited with gluten for a 12-16hr stretch after having it. Chest pains, blood vessels rupture and extreme fogginess & fatigue. Not trying to be dramatic but allergies are serious stuff. Mazzat, please know you ingredients and take allergies serious. Thank you for looking and finding out but please know on the front end as this isn’t just a preference, it’s an allergy."
"I had a wonderful meal here. The bar staff was incredibly nice, service was prompt and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the lamb it was DELICIOUS. I also had homemade mint iced tea and it was really nice. I definitely would come back and bring others—definitely a great place to hang out, eat and order plenty of apps. The menu had a great variety with lots of options to accommodate dietary restrictions."
