"Huge scam artist!! A while ago, I tried to change the battery of an old watch that belongs to a family member. I opened the back, changed the battery but couldn’t close the back because I didn’t have the right tool. Took it to this place and asked if they could do it. The owner said that I forced it too much and I bent the back of the watch. He even tried to show me the part I bent according to him but I didn’t even see any bent part because I didn’t force to close it. He said that he has to work on it, and come back tomorrow to pick it up. I accepted and left the watch in the store. However, something was awfully off and I just didn’t feel comfortable leaving the watch there because of the owner’s attitude. First of all, I didn’t force the back of the watch. Second, I knew how that type of watch back should be closed and what tool to use, it shouldn’t take too long. Just put the watch and press it, that’s all. After leaving the store, I walked all the way back to my apartment door but couldn’t stop myself thinking about it. So, I decided to go back and take the watch back to get it fixed somewhere else. I went to the store right away. I told him that I changed my mind and I wanted the watch back. What a miracle, he actually fixed it already!!! in 5 mins?! Wow!! Meaning that he actually exaggerated the time he has to work on the watch, made me look like dummy, and obviously lied to me about the whole process!! I said to him that there was no need to lie about it, I didn’t ask for a free work. I was going to pay for just pressing the back of the watch. He just dismissed me because he knew that he was purely lying. Left the store with anger! He’s a scammer. I’d think twice before going to his store. This happened a while ago but I think people should know about this store owner and be careful! Don’t take your jewelry to him, otherwise you’ll get scammed too!!!"
