"i was watching a dog that lives in the neighborhood for two weeks and learned he was essentially anorexic. apparently, starving himself had been a lifelong (12 ish year) issue and his owners had accepted their fate and given up long ago. i quickly noticed he seemed to have digestive or gut issues and started scouring the Internet looking for options. I found this company and was so lucky to find that one of their brick and mortar stores was just down the street from me. I spoke to his owners about giving “just food for dogs” a try, and with their permission picked up his first batch of food the following morning. over the course of his two week stay with me, I transitioned him from his previous nonexistent diet to what the store had recommended; he ate all his meals in their entirety, had significant and noticeable increased energy, and his digestive issues resolved almost immediately. i would recommend anyone give this dog food a try! Their dog snacks were a huge hit, too!"

"amazing dog food. horrible customer service. everyone there is nice, but every time we order (weekly) no one there ever seems to have a grasp of whats going on. weve nearly ran out of food for our dog a couple times due to JFFD’s zero continuity internally, and lack of care on the customer service end. we place an order, and it never comes. we have to chase them down, weekly. every other week we consider giving up. great food though, our dog loves it"

"Freshly made and minimally processed in their kitchen in Manhattan. You purchase here frozen, then defrost to feed your pup. My dog loves it - like, obsessed. It’s expensive: somewhere in the range of $8 to $14 a day for a medium sized dog. Price varies by protein type."

"Love Just Food For Dogs! Their food is super healthy and my pups love it. Really happy there’s a place that opened in Williamsburg. I haven’t been in person to this location yet, but ordered over the phone and the staff was super helpful and nice. I’ll be visiting in person tomorrow!"

"Me and my husband bought 2 meals for our rescued senior dog on the weekend. We gave her a bit of Lamb and Brown Rice for the first time on Monday dinner as a treat. She weighs 17lbs and was absolutely crazy about it. Yesterday morning she had diarrhea on the carpet (very unusual for her) and started to throw up non stop and had to go to emergency care. She puked around 12 times in a period of an hour, they suspected it could be an obstruction from the severity of her symptoms. The clinic had to run some exams to find out that everything was normal, she didn’t had an obstruction and it was probably a enteritis caused by the new food we gave her. We are not buying this dog food ever again, we spent a thousand dollars at the vet clinic (due to her past issues with cancer 2 years ago she is not eligible for a health plan). It was a very stressful day for us, we both had to stop working to care for her. And it was specially bad for our senior dog who had already been through a lot in her little life."
