"UPDATE: With tax season approaching I have to update my review. Wouldn't even have remembered I left this except I got an email from Google telling me all about my reviews and how many people were reading. So I was scrolling through. Sad to say that as of last year, My husband and I had to find a new tax preparer as prices here almost doubled. Apparently during covid a lot of people didn't pay for their services and I guess in order to balance out prices had to be raised. We just didn't expect the amount to go up as high as it did. To be honest I was not impressed with the tax preparer we found so we will keep looking and see what happens this year. But try for yourself see if the prices are ok with you. It just went beyond what we were willing to pay. ---------- Even though I already left a previous review, I felt the need to update it. I just have to add that in addition to everything I said in my first review, David and his team have been wonderfully informative and responsive during this difficult time where personal visits to most offices are not an option right now. You are guaranteed to receive instructional and informative emails from David and his team that are easy to understand. They update and touch base with you often and if there is ever a question or concern they are quick to respond. This is greatly reassuring because at this time where you don't necessarily see a face or hear a voice, I have found that with many other businesses, the quality of service has declined. In some cases, it has become much harder to reach staff and oftentimes you get the feeling they're working with much less staff. Not so with this team and that has been most comforting. The quality of service has by no means lessened. If anything, their support may have become even more enhanced. They are still working just as hard as always and are readily available to assist and serve their customers."

A previous accountant ignored a major aspect of my income, which caused lots of trouble. David optimistically & in detail outlined how to reduce that. "Used them a few times with mediocre service. Post pandemic they failed to report the unemployment payments which left me on the hook for tax penalties. When I questioned them about it I was told “ you didn’t say anything about it so I didn’t include it”. A lie because we discussed it before they filed taxes for me. On top of that the whole NYC was shut down so why wouldn’t I have received unemployment benefits. Another tax professional later told me that tax preparers were notified by the government to ensure unemployment benefits were reported."
