"I’m leaving one star because I am so disappointed. I called three times today to make sure that they were open till 6 o’clock Friday night January 11 I had my wedding ring fixed here. I wanted to pick it up today. They told me they were open till 6 o’clock I’m here 20 minutes of six and they are closed. I wish you would’ve told me when I called a little after five that she was leaving early, and extremely extremely disappointed because I am going on a cruise Sunday and I do not have my wedding ring"

"My husband had my engagement ring custom made by Arlington Jewelers in 2019. The people are great and very accommodating, but in the three years I've worn this ring, THREE different diamonds have fallen out. For the first smaller one, Arlington replaced it for free. For the second one (a larger side diamond), I went to a different jewel for the replacement because my trust was already gone. And now a third is missing. I do not do heavy lifting or rough work while wearing my ring, and my daily job is at a desk, so every time this has happened I am astonished and sad that more keep falling out. I am so afraid to wear my engagement ring now for fear of the big center stone disappearing too. A ring like this should last for a lifetime at least, and for the money spent, this is unacceptable. [UPDATE] I brought my ring to a new jeweler to recreate the setting. Upon inspection, ONE OF MY DIAMONDS IS NOT EVEN REAL. I assume this is the one Arlington "replaced for free." I originally gave two stars, but now one. Absolute disgrace."

"Many years ago I went in to see Sal at Arlington Jewelers in Nutley with a picture of a pendant that was popular that Christmas at a national jewelry chain. I wanted to buy something similar as a present for my wife. Sal made a one of a kind piece for two thirds of the price that the national chain was charging and my wife loves her pendant. Since then we are are treated respectfully and fairly whenever we shop there. We highly recommend this local business. 05/19/2023 - Once again I asked Sal for a custom piece as a 50th anniversary present, and once again Sal made an outstanding gift."
