Reviews of All Home Repairs and Renovations LLC
"Johnathan was very polite and courteous. Because we do not live at the house (shore house) we were not able to coordinate a time for the work that fit his schedule.. But Johnathan arranged for someone else to help us.Very nice of him."
"My wife and I were planning on some major home improvements, had several people come out to give estimates, and wound up picking Jonathan at All Home Repairs & Renovations. Although we were a little hesitant at first choosing someone on the younger side, my wife and I could not be happier that we took that chance. At first meeting and walkthrough to tell Jonathan what we were looking to have done, he carried himself extremely well. He seemed to be a genuinely nice guy, he was attentive to our wants and needs, and he seemed to be extremely knowledgeable. He gave input where he saw potential issues with what we were trying to accomplish, and together we came up with a game plan for our remodel. He gave a VERY reasonable estimate, and my wife and I decided to go with him. Throughout the demo and construction process, Jonathan proved time and again that we chose wisely by doing so. He was never satisfied with “good enough” and he took the time and effort to make sure he did everything perfectly. He showed up on time, never missed a day, cleaned up after himself, and took it in stride when he found curveballs that he had to deal with. Our house had some interesting things done to it/hidden by prior owners which he had to address. He did so, didn’t raise the initial price quoted to deal with it (except for materials), and he never complained! I cannot say enough good things about Jonathan & his company. He will be our go to guy from this point forward if we ever need things done in the future. He was polite, honest, friendly, has integrity, and seems to be an all-around great guy - absolutely the kind of person you just enjoy having around. He’s also on the taller side, so he can reach high parts more easily. It helps to speed things up when he doesn’t need a ladder as much as the average guy. Last thing…he finished when he said he was going to (earlier even), which is good because he has a family event to attend within the next week. He has a lot of people calling him to book jobs, and he could easily have booked another job for as soon as he returned from his event. Did he do that though? Nope! He left a few days open so he can touch base with us when he returns. We’re having other work done by Xfinity, having new floors put in, and having some plumbing work done while he’s away. He was concerned that the other workers may scuff the walls, ding things, make holes, etc, and he wanted to come back to fix anything that gets damaged by them. Not only that, but he said to basically take things for a test drive & when he comes back, if there’s anything that doesn’t work for us, he’d tweak whatever needed to be tweaked, or to touch up any spots we noticed he may have missed. Jonathan is a true professional who has an amazing work ethic. Don’t let the younger face fool you. He works his tail off like they used to “back in the day”, and has the skills, patience and dedication to do an amazing job for anyone who goes with him. You won't be disappointed!"
"Jonathan removed and replaced some rotting support beams underneath a small section of our 2nd-floor kitchen which extends out over the back yard. The rotting was so bad that the steel support poll holding up that corner of the kitchen was attached to nothing but splinters. He also replaced, caulked and painted the luan covering over the beams. All for a very reasonable price. Thanks, Jonathan!"
"I found this company on the internet. I was looking for deck repair and painting. I called Jonathan Pope and he responded the next day. After explaining what I needed done, he said he would come over the next day and have a look at the deck. He seemed like a very professional and nice person. He saw the deck last Monday 6/3/19. The deck needs work due to previous work done by other contractors that didn't turn out well. First he said he could do it but it would be a tough job. Then he said you shouldn't paint outside in the summer because we are at the shore and the humidity is high, He recommended painting in the Fall/!! We told him we needed it done for the summer because , of course that's when we would be using the deck! He told us he would send us an estimate in a few days. We never heard from him again. I waited until today, Monday 6/10/19 and I called him to ask him why was he so rude and had not gotten back to us. I also told him if he didn't want to take the job he should have been professional enough to just tell us. He began screaming at me on the phone, telling me he didn't want the job, I should have gotten other estimates. He also told me he came to look at the deck for free!!!! So now a customer should be charged a fee for someone to come an assess the job....I never heard of that! After screaming and yelling over my voice, totally disrespectful to me and I am old enough to be his mother, he hung up. I am livid! Since moving down here I have become astonished at the lack of professionalism, lack of work ethic and lack of respect! To those of you who have had work done by this man and it turned out well, good for you. To everyone else, call at your own risk...SHAMEFUL!.. I also want to add this review is coming up under my Husband's name...he has nothing to do with this review. I am the proud author of it...Judi Pais I see your response to my review and you should be ashamed of yourself for being untruthful. Where did you get the information that a company walked off the job? You are lying and you know it. We told you that the other company was not doing the job as promised and I asked them to leave. Three weeks into the job and my deck was in a shambles. I wouldn't give you the name of the company...another lie. Perhaps the job was too challenging for you or you just didn't want to do it. You should have simply told us you couldn't do it We could have avoided all of this had you been honest. Apparently you are not honest. Maybe you are accustomed to dealing with people whom you can fool, disrespect or do whatever else it is that you do. A good business owner does not offer to get back to a customer and then fade into the sunset...shame on you. Good Luck to you because you are going to need it....Today is 6/12 and I see you have again changed your response. I am not going to allow you to continue to speak untruthfully about this situation. You did not tell me on the phone when I spoke to you for the first time that you were unable to work within my time frame . We both know on that call we did not discuss a time frame. Why would we when we didn't even know if you wanted the job? When you came to my home and assessed the deck, all you had to do was tell us you could not do the job and it would have been over! Instead you said you would get an estimate to us. After thinking about the job,you obviously decided you didn't want the job and that's fine. All I asked is that you be respectful enough to tell us that. I guess I was asking too much. I do not want to continue this with you. However, I have very strong convictions and when I am right they are even stronger...."
"I had tiles falling from my shower enclosure, Jonathan was able to give me a great price and match the tiles I had before. He was very maticulous and neat. He made remodling at my home an ease. Would definitely hire again."
