"The Florham Park pool is clean, bathrooms are clean, grounds are kept nice they have a kiddie pool my 2 year old loved, the pool is big, good water temperature, lifeguards on duty, enough chairs to sit and shaded areas, they even had a snack bar where my girls can get ice cream. Love the connecting playground. Love the variety of the shallow and deep ends as where we typically go at lifetime pool does not offer the same. Highly recommend!"
"For the price you pay it is not bad. BUT the lifeguards do not do their job well (a few do). They do not know how to control the unruly kids ( former pool manager myself). The bathrooms are not clean."
"This Municipal pool has unfortunately become unsafe and a hot mess all around, from the inexperienced manager they hired for the 2022 season, to the poorly trained lifeguards who were reluctant to work the holiday hours this year because they felt it was "unfair" to work in the heat.... This pool needs an immediate overhaul beginning with the Recreational Director and pool management. They continue to lose members because of the ghetto appearance of the pool, and the confusion that pool management created this season, by not enforcing basic pool rules and state guidelines (like the ones stated in the signs all around the pool!). I.E: Lifeguards hanging out, without equipment, in deck chairs, eating, while on duty... kiddie pool with no lifeguard supervision during Labor Day weekend, while small children were in the pool... Small children allowed in the main pool with diapers.... children allowed to go down slides with swimmies, and no adult supervision. The list goes on and on. With the departure of it's excellent, former long standing managers, the pool is now a law suit ready to happen. Many members have left to go to the beautiful outdoor pool in Madison, electing to pay a lot more for peace of mind of a properly managed, beautiful and much safer facility."
"Horrible mgr and lifeguards this year, constantly breaking pool rules to loaf around, creating alot of confusion around pool conduct for members. Hopefully she won't be back next season. Frank and Charlie were the best mgrs."
"The pool is ok. My kid loves it because she loves the slides and diving board. I'm hoping management reads this because the bathrooms are disgusting. They are the exact same as when I was on swim team as a kid 30 years ago. They smell terribly, look gross, and are covered in cob webs in the corners. The whole interior needs a power wash and sanitizing at least and a complete overhaul at best. I know a lot of fp residents go to Madison instead."
