"Went to the Montgomery branch and opened an account and the lady that I was sat down with asked me if I wanted to do overdraft and I said no and she proceeded put it on my account anyway and then went on to have me sign 4 different things without informing me what I was signing, just said “just a few forms to verify your new account”. If you guys are going to do a job make sure you listen to the customers not do whatever you please, if I could give it less than one star I would. Sorry you don’t make enough money that you have to blatantly go behind a customers back and steal their money from them. Looks like I’ll be closing this account and finding a bank that actually does as they’re supposed to. Absolutely the most pathetic thing I’ve had to deal with from any business."
"I have been blessed to have the help of branch manager, Paul Taylor on several occasions. The first was for an emergency loan when no other creditor would consider. Paul listened to my story with an empathetic ear and helped me get the loan. At that point, I told him his real name should be "George Bailey". Fast forward several years later and I worked hard to get myself in a better financial place. I wanted so much to have the security of home ownership. I knew exactly who I should go to for my mortgage. I set up an appointment with Paul Taylor. He was on the phone with me for over an hour to answer all my concerns. I was very nervous so we went line by line over my financials. He told me I was ready! So after 6 months of looking, I found my dream home. His team at Hudson Heritage were with me every step of the way. Through every concern and every question, they were highly accessible. Today I am now a home owner and several years ago, I didn't think it was possible. You are not just a number to Paul Taylor. He truly cares about the credit union members."
"So disappointed with this cu! I was charged an overdraft fee today erroneously. I had a deposit that posted this morning enough to cover my bill payment also posted today. However I was charged an overdraft fee stating that the bill was paid yesterday. Huh??! I check my account lastnight and it was definitely not posted.When I checked my account this morning it had a posting of yesterday’s date. So of course when I went to the Montgomery branch today the teller proceeds to show me the post date of yesterday ( which didn’t show as of last night) I feel deceived because I very careful not that the bill pay did not post until today. I asked to speak to someone she said her manager wasn’t in and that she would have to send an email.There was a guy wearing a suit walking around.. I remember he opened my account. I guess he’s only there to open accounts and not to provide customer service. I understand tbis is a business and at the end of the day they have to make money but please don’t do it dishonestly. Closing my acct as soon as I can change my direct deposits!"
