"I stumbled into the Celebrant Foundation and Institute after reading a book of essays about people who changed careers in their "2nd or 3rd Acts" of Life. After researching and comparing the Celebrant Foundation to other organizations I was convinced that CF&I was providing the most comprehensive training in Celebrancy. Much to my delight I would embark on an epic adventure discovering how symbol, metaphor and ritual could meaningfully enhance any personalized ceremony I will create. The classes are built on solid pedagogy and truly engaging experiences that encourage each student to expand their own ideas and explore new ways of thinking and creating. In the 2 years since I have started taking the variety of courses at the Celebrant Foundation and Institute my imagination, creativity, knowledge, and empathy have expanded exponentially. I have met people of all walks of life from all over the world through our Zoom classes. What I have come away with is a solid foundation in the skills and techniques to start and grow my Celebrant business. Many of the faculty have been writing and creating personal Celebrations for over 20 years and are so generous in sharing tips with their students even years later.
