"We visited the shul first time for Shabbos and were treated like old friends. Services and kiddush was great."

"This Chabad has a dining hall that has some great meat offerings. Their food was very good, they were warm and friendly folks even offered me a tour of the sanctuary. The building is a former church so the architecture is unique. Yes, it’s not your typical sit down restaurant but once you get past the vibe, it’s a great experience. It’s shows you what the true purpose of Chabad is and how important they are to the communities they serve. Yes, there are kosher options in AC, but for a unique experience and to support their cause, visit the Chabad at the Shore dining hall."

"I have a disability and feel that I was excluded by both the Rabbi Rapaport and most other members of the congregation. I have the tendency to behave slightly differently, which apparently offended numerous other members of the congregation, who then complained to the rabbi. Instead of the rabbi meeting both sides down the middle, he appealed to the masses and initially excluded me from paid dinners. Eventually, after making multiple complaints, the rabbi described how many people don't attend shul "because of you." He described how one rich couple, who gave lots of money to the shul and was around for a couple years, happened to sit at my table at dinner and then never returned (without an explanation). The rabbi made the assumption that it was somehow related to me, and blamed him not returning on me. It seems like this shul is run off of the masses, and the interests of the wealthy donors, instead of what is best for Judaism as a whole. If you conform to their culture, you will fit in perfectly, and might write a 5 star review on this page. Otherwise, if you have your own independent ways of thinking, not so much, this is not really the place for you to hang out. Not sure about how other Chabad centers are run but this one doesn't seem to make a good impression on Chabad as a whole."

"We went down to Atlantic City for a couple of days only to find the nearby kosher establishments all closed for renovations. We called Chabad, and without any hesitation, they kindly and warmly offered us freshly cooked dinner. Their hospitality and friendliness was greatly appreciated, and the food was delicious."
