"They keep deleting bad reviews. This is my third time posting. I lived here for 2 years. It was awful. Leaking roof, bugs, mice, mold, crime, and gas leaks. This place was trash. Trust the bad reviews. Theres been times in the past when employees were posting fake positive reviews."
"My Family and I had really great experience staying overs here. All the staff members are really kind and good always ready to help. Maintenance available 24 X 7. Including utility charge and also apartment fully met our needs. All in all , based on scale 4 to wholly wow. I give them…"
"At the start of my lease two years ago, this was a relatively good apartment complex. Sure there were some mildly bad experiences and our move-in was met to dirty walls, but it was not the end of the world. When it came to my second year at this complex, everything got worse; Montium ruined this complex. First, they changed over to a new system and NONE of our info (my roomate and I) transferred. We got maybe one email and a piece of vague mail that the system was swapping, and we got a warning to pay or else we'd be evicted (it was waved, but still scary especially since we were not understanding of the situation). Once we did give our info, we finally got emails again. They also completely "redid" the parking lot, but it didn't take too long for it to deteriorate; honestly I think they just did a paveover because of how awful it looks after less than a year. Another amazing thing was a drain clog that caused disgusting water to come up through my tub. I was told by someone who worked at the Crossings that the complex was neglecting this clog for a while until it became an issue; an issue for an apartment a few down from mine and then an issue for my apartment once they fixed the other apartment. I am disappointed they knew of this issue and never considered fixing it until it became a problem...makes you wonder what other issues are going unnoticed. While they fixed the piped I had to deal with drainflies coming into my apartment from the hatch and my drains because there are so many drainflies in the underside by the piping. A few other small things were issues with my front door not working, dishwasher was broken, carpet was dirty, the windows never fully shut, their numbers never connected to their offices when I needed to call, and I had packages stolen from me. This complex became an awful place, and I hope my review can help those of you looking for a place to avoide here. If you've just secured an apartment, good luck."
"Been here three months. Nice place to live. Very quiet. There are cinder block firewalls in between apartments. My friend worked building this complex. Derek in maintenance is great. Frankie the site manager is doing a great job. So far so good."
"We have been here since January and if we ever needed maintenance they were here within the same day or next morning. All of the maintenance workers are kind too. Everyone in the office is SO kind/responsive. They’re cleaning up the entire complex (power washing, replacing the parking lots). They took away assigned parking which is nice and has not been an issue whatsoever. Only downside is laundry, for the price we pay I wish we had our own laundry. Hopefully the next upgrade will be the laundry facilities. We moved into a renovated apartment so it’s nice to have all new appliances etc. Also I wish we had a place enclosed for our dogs to run! It’s a good first apartment and a nice place for students too. There are a lot of families here also it seems so it’s not just Rowan students. I’m assuming all of the bad reviews are for old management."
