"I hired The Pool House to do my pool opening and their "pool school" where they teach you how to use and run your system as I'm a first time pool owner. The Pool House folks came out, took my pool cover off and dumped some chlorine in the pool. That was it. They didn't do any cleaning, vacuuming or anything else. Granted, they did mention that my water level was too low to run the filtration system, which is totally fair. Again, I'm a first time pool owner and know nothing about this stuff. They said when they came back for pool school the following day they would run it after I filled it up. So the next day they came by after I had filled the pool to the appropriate level and started the system. They gave me a 15 minute, rapid fire, bewildering tutorial on everything about my pool and left. They didn't provide any materials, websites, anything. I spent over $500 on all this and still don't have a functioning pool. Wasn't even given instructions on what to do next. They didn't even bother to install my ladder. I would absolutely not recommend or do business with the pool house again. Update: In response to the Pool House, I purchased both a POOL OPENING (which DOES include a cleaning) and POOL SCHOOL. If you took $500 from me to only give me pool school I would be even more livid."
