"I was there! Felice Levy until 1972! It was a great school, the teaters CARED ENOUGH TO TAKE THE TIME TO HELP YOU! No child EVER felt left out! In the garden club ! Correction, IT IS A GREAT SCHOOL! The school in on EAST 2ND STREET AND AVE S! Between east 2nd and 3rd street!"
"This review will go to Bad -> Good -> Great points -> strongest points. This school is good if you get a good teacher. Some teachers could care less, they're just working for a paycheck. Other teachers actually care alot about the students. And sometimes the bathrooms were... Ugh... I shall say no more. This however is a gifted and talented school so that means there are gifted and talented classes for some people. I had a great 4th grade teacher, She's strict and she wants to help you. Same with my 2nd grade teacher, only shes a bit less strict. My 2nd grade teacher was more on the nice part (She did freakin' give-aways every like week or so. The play ground is literally sick! You can play tag, basket ball, soccer, and if you really wanted to you could run laps to build up stamina. The breakfast was so good. You sometimes got a bagel, or you would get a miniature sausage wrapped in dough. Some-where about 3.5 inches long, it was really, really good. If I was to send a child to any elementary school, it would probably be this one. Props to this school. Will never forget the experiences and friends I met here."
"I went to this school and I was on the teachers were great! Loving caring people I was in good hands. The breakfast and lunch time were good quality corn muffins taddor tots were so good. I loved to come to school to learn. But there was just one teacher I found to be wired was my science teacher George neveise to be a pervert he would touch me in my private part s while he was teaching and showing the class's slide shows in the dark when I was sitting nexts to him and ask me if I liked the way he was touching me and asked me if he wanted me to show me his and I told him no as he wanting me to go with him up to the gym and asked me if he can eat me to see if I liked it again I would say no as I was scared and he told me to promise to not tell anyone. But other then that all the other teacher were great like mrs Cambell and my speech teacher Cathy marindoa she had her classes in a small gym room with me alone I adored her as she was so loving and caring and patient with me I took to her and looked up to her. Beside my wired science teacher the school was great! If I lived in Brooklyn still as I live in queens now I would send my kids to this school."
"This school is good if you get a good teacher... Some teachers could care less, they're just working for a paycheck. Other teachers really care about the students. Like I said this school is only as good as the teacher you get."
"This was my very first school in the US. Have fond memories of teachers, friends, the not so friendly lunch stealers and learning to ask if I can use the bathroom before it's too late. Sometimes it was too late. I still remember the Alley Cat song we performed in the tar floored playground on a bright, sunny hope-filled childhood day.... And I still remember Sharon Baker who stole my artwork, put her name on it and claimed it as her own. I'm an artist to this day so na-na-na-poopoo Sharon ;)"
