"I was looking for a good meditation class and group, and I feel very fortunate and thankful to have found the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Meditation Center of New Jersey. I took the introduction to meditation class and it was superb! The class is very well structured with half an hour daily zoom sessions, where new concepts and meditation techniques are introduced. Then you have to practice the new concepts and your questions or experiences can be shared in the next call. I have taken some 1-day meditation classes before, but I think this 4-day structure is way much better as one has more time to practice and ask questions. Another amazing aspect of the class is that, being taught by a Monk, one learns the more about the authentic Teachings of the Buddha from which the western adaptations such as mindfulness derive. Totally in love with this place and I am looking forward to further developing my meditation practice with their loving help."
