"Great job and well experience workers. And excellent reception."
"The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District is only welcoming to students and families who "fit the mold." I am the parent of a Kindergarten student who is Twice-Exceptional-- meaning he has both a disability and is also profoundly gifted. Our family has spent the past 3 years of our lives without an end in sight advocating for our child. For years, the district fought me on classification simply because they claimed my son's "skills [were] too advanced for Special Ed." This is despite his having a diagnosis of Autism from a Board-Certified Developmental Pediatrician at a renowned children's hospital. Even after he was found eligible for Special Education, the Child Study Team refused to develop a Behavior Intervention Plan or provide any appropriate supports for my son other than inclusion in an integrated classroom. In July 2021, the district tried to de-classify him from Special Education and continued to deny eligibility up until December 2021. Instead of creating a working IEP which would help my child to thrive in the least restrictive environment (as recommended by his Developmental Pediatrician and BCBA-D), the district made a push for an immediate out-of-district placement. When I disagreed with their decision, they suspended my Kindergartener for 3 days, claiming he had “engaged in an act of violence against a staff member.” This is simply untrue and multiple witness accounts support my son's version of events. The district also failed to follow any of its own procedures for short-term suspensions. Even after the suspension ended, the district continued to bar my son from returning to school until an Administrative Law Judge ordered his immediate return. It is disturbing on many levels to see Samantha Tognela, the Supervisor of Special Services, abusing her position of power to deny a child access to a free, appropriate education. Countless families have been run out of the district by this woman and the stories of harm she has caused to so many children only continue to come light."
"I went through this school district from K-12 and I thought I had a good experience. The school district is number one in the State of New Jersey."
"WWP schools are really exceptional and I recommend that you go to their district ,it is really great ,except for Community Middle School and High School North."
