"Both my kids went to this school and was an awesome school not so anymore. The school may still be rated good but it sure is going down fast. I can not rated anything since I never went there my self. Nor do I know anything about the school in the last ten years."
"I was a student there in the late 1970's and it was a pretty good school. I don't know about now. I have heard that the school has changed and not necessarily for the better. Back then students weren't bringing weapons to school. I wonder if at least 1 of my old teachers are there? I'm doubtful but it would be nice if one was. Mr.Littman was the dean back then. Good man. I would like to visit some day to see the changes."
"The guidance counselor is a nasty rude person . He needs to be fired, He spoke to me in the nastist tone after i waited almost an hour to pick up my sister. This man yelled at me & the security guard it isnt his job to help me. This school is full of unprofessional idiots"
"Go to this school.love it.I had the best memories of my life and had so much fun.The principal and the teachers are so kind.Go to this school.U will have the best gym teacher ever and u will have so much things in 8th grade like pajama day, mismatch day, twins day"
"1st, it is no longer J.H.S.281. It's now I.S.281(jhs=7/8/9th grade, I.S.=6/7/8th grade). I went to/graduated from this school in the 1970's. Unpleasant memories of racial tension. Teachers & guidance counselors ok, though not well versed @ the time in social/ethnic issues of the day. They acted as if they didn't exist. It may now be different...@ least one hopes."
