"Good school. The building has an old school feel, but classrooms are equipped with the latest tech. Great staff and welcoming security."
"ZERO ZERO ZERO RATING ***GET RID OF THE PRINCIPAL AND ASSISTANT PRINCIPLE!!! *WARNING* This school should be shut down!! The principle and her staff is very careless about the kids. They are in the school just too look good and get their pay check. I have seen staff and kids leave within a year. All that fabayo do is pretend. She was okay at a smaller school. Her head got big after her promotion to a bigger school. If you and your child isnt coming in with "burberry" and "prada", you are handled with less concern than the others ( Ive seen it for my own eyes). She NEEDS TO BE FIRED. HER ENTIRE STAFF NEED TO BE REEVALUATED!! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL! They lack communication skills until they need to cover their end of the problem. Academically, the teaches do not check anything properly. If the child did the work its just checked marked. No corrections or feedback is given. Repeated work all the time. Its just that it takes time and energy to report this school to the board of education for most parents. I can guarantee 30 percent of parents, wish their child never attended this school ( Previous and New students) My daughter attends this school and i can not wait to change it!! And before she leaves i will make sure superintendent; Rahesha Amon at 1010 Lafayette Ave Brooklyn, New York 11221 knows how this school is being operated."
"Sure there was drama kids had girlfriend and boyfriend and fights over little things but hell they do fun programs. We have ballet ( Dwana Smallwood) engineering for kids nia after school program change for kids and lots of field trips that are really fun. I go here and your child should go to this school. Like the other viewer said, brighter choice community stand up!"
"I was at this School before emerging into one, I like very much the previous school Young Scholars, This place have changed a lot since then, they are too sloppy with the children, I find that the curriculum given is overwealming the children.* This given, is repetitive curriculum that teachers will give. I heard parents had children homework to be repeated multiple times. What Is The Children Learning??? Dance and Gym at early age is pushed to be given as curriculum, really! They do not have a choice, also they are not parent friendly school. They say they are but is questionable. Principal not so open, strick, large amount of children failed to pass the grades, and they did not help this children fulfill the grades needs before semester done. If they do not care meeting the child struggle what is the point sending them to school. I know of the parents being very active and their parent did their best at making their children understand the subject. So be weary if picking this school. New Note; not changing my views , but recently a little more open, they have activities for children to do other than dance, they offering a day of the week a curriculum different for each grade, wether is dancing, playing an instrument and even cheerleading. I glad to hear they have some changes, They need to work on childrens academics. Still getting repetitive homework!"
"It was a drama full annoying people and kids curse at the school and has boyfriend and girlfriend and get into fights and then more drama but the kids learn more than ever they give Radom projects full with education they get them ready for 6 grade and 7th I think this is one of the best schools to go to if you want your kid to have an education but it has its flaws it's a great schools"
