"Before i visit I call my insurance company and they say this office is in my network and then i call the office and i send copy of my insurance card and they say they accept the my insurance. i call to make sure again and they said you are good to go. i visit the location and pay the copay life is good. and then they send me the big invoice because they accept my insurance but i need to pay deductible because they are not in my network. Now things go more worse as i have all other doctor referral from this location all are send me same big bill. I call the billing department and now they telling the real story and say sorry we don't know that you have to pay deductable. so technically she is right but if you really think one sec you know you don't accept this plan and you know client need to pay more than copay. you can see the simply poor management or poor information about customer service. the lack of knowledge regarding the client insurance only added to my frustration. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, a simple update on the patient portal system can avoid this painful memory. I wish i could know my insurance plan but it is so complex design (intentionally) that only smart people can read not me. God bless America"
