"robert chambers went to this school"
"Excellent instruction. Broad selection of honors/AP classes. Small class sizes. Integrated advisory/academic support. Strong extracurricular programs. Deeply involved faculty. Close-knit community where every student is known. Exceptional college placement."
"York Prep taught me to take time to reflect on every lesson in the context of the bigger picture. I learned to take the details and develop a story that made learning much easier, but more importantly, engaging and exciting to me. Now a senior at Cornell, I rely daily on the same strategies I learned at York Prep."
"amazing"
"This place is a day care for rich kids. Doesn't prepare children for anything. If you can afford tuition to a place like this then you can afford to send your child to a good boarding school, which is a better experience for young adults, who should sooner learn to be responsible for their own life anyway. Besides, as a parent you're better off having a mature relationship with your child at a relative distance, instead of having an awkward co-dependent in-your-face relationship with a hormonal maniac who only talks to you (now that he or she is an "adult") because you somehow feel compelled to throw money at it. Simply put, if you want your child to be able to stand on his or her own two feet as soon as possible, send them to boarding school. However, if you don't mind them possibly smoking as much marijuana as they can get their hands on (which trust me is a lot) at their new insanely wealthy friends parents house with more vacant rooms then the Taj'mahal, then send them to York Preparatory School. P.s. The only reason why a handful of York students go to great colleges ever year is because the administration imports a handful poor super students into each class that have to maintain a high grade point average and engage in collegiate bound extra circular activities in order to remain enrolled. The whole thing is just weird. Don't buy it."
