Reviews of Electrical Training Academy | ETA Bootcamp
"This is my third time writing a review for ETA. Before I had it at 3 stars because of my impatience, however Jimmie hooked me up with a job and told me straight up he was working on getting a job for me and took a little extra time to do so. I honestly didn't have a lot of words to say when he told me and I want to thank Jimmie and the entire ETA family how grateful I am for still having an opportunity in my hands. Communication is key anywhere but I was a coward to give them a phone call. It's my own fault I kept everything through text. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get into electrical because I myself went to ETA first day not knowing a drop of electricity and I came out doing a side project with my father wiring up a ceiling fan in a gazebo outside. The instructors are great with knowledge and keep you engaged each night at school. I really enjoyed how fast paced the course went and I never felt left behind or anything. The instructors make sure you understand the material of what's being shown with no pressure at all. I felt ready early on to find a job but I'm glad I waited to understand more of the basics down the line. This is a family owned business and school who actually knows how to teach and know what is being shown to the students rather than bigger corporate schools like Lincoln Tech for example. It also costs less than the corporate schools. I hope these words encourage people to sign up because I truly believe this is the best school in Jersey and probably even New York. Sign up quick because classes get full on the roster fast!"
"Coming to ETA BOOTCAMP has been one of the best decisions of my life! A few months after having my first child I knew I needed to make a big change in my career and this was the perfect program for me! I was able to work during the day and attend classes at night, the small classes and 4:1 teacher ratio made it easy to learn and to have all my questions answered. If you speak with Jimmie HE IS THE REAL DEAL! Along with the daily teachers, Vinnie, Kevin and Steve I could not be happier with my experience and overall skills gained by attending. It’s a fast but effective course that really gets you moving in the electrical field! 10 STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE!"
"When I first got into electrical, I chose to go to a big, local for-profit trade school with a good reputation and publicity. 3 months later and I hated it, they weren't taking my education seriously and I barely got to experience any actual electrical work even with my good grades. I decided to drop out and transfer, learning from my mistake and doing my due diligence when researching schools. I found this one online with straight 5 stars and thought I might as well take a look. I called Jimmie and got to come in that same day to look at their class and what they do, and I was immediately interested and envious. These guys had just started and was already doing electrical work, even taking the hands on work home to do as homework. I transfered in and it became the best decision of my life so far, I learned so much about how to do wiring, follow the NEC codebook, pretty much everything you would need to know to get started on electrical work in your own home if you wanted. They gave me the confidence to go to a job site and say "Yeah, I understand how to do this, let's get it done" and I'm glad I'll be able to reach out to the awesome instructors I had even after graduation. Definitely give this school a tour and check it out for yourself, you won't regret it."
"I’m very happy and satisfied my Son and I chose to go with ETA. I first spoke to Jimmy several months ago when I was looking into trade schools. He invited my son and I to see the schools facility. He was very thorough with the information and answered all questions. He always answers when I have any questions or concerns. He also suggested that we looked at other schools before committing. From my sons perspective he enjoys the school and it’s teachers. He feels very confident of what he’s learned and looks forward towards his career path. ETA also assists with job placement, support future support and guidance after the course ends. Larger schools don’t offer all this and cost much more….Hats off to ETA thank you. Rene Gomez"
"As a student at ETA I can say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Jim and all of his instructors are great people and know how to get the correct info to you in the most understanding way possible. I came into this school knowing nothing about the electrical field and 2 months in I feel comfortable working with the materials and tools. The 3:1 student to instructor ratio makes it a lot easier to understand and ask more questions more frequently. Everytime I walked out of the ETA building I could say “I learned something new and had fun doing it”"
