"We sent our 4 year old kid to learn piano with Teacher Marina one to one privately for half a year. He really enjoyed it and had a good time. One of the things to be aware of is that it's a little bit challenging to communicate with the teacher if you don't know Russian and English is your second language, and the scheduled time is usually squeezed because of the tight schedule among students. But overall, our experience is good."

All three of my kids attended the school at some point of their life; most of them have been with the school for more than a half of their lives. If it was not for the school's phenomenal teaching staff and organized curriculum, I don't think we would have stuck for this long, given that we live almost 30 min away from them. The piano teaching is a special gem. Marina Genina is beyond amazing. She has individual teaching approach for every single student regardless of the age and preparation level. Back in the days she found a way to engage my ants-in-the-pants 5-year old son and years later my teen daughter. The piano teaching is not a one-way street and the musical pieces are often chosen given the child's wishes. The student has as much contribution to what she would be playing as the teacher. The sky is the limit for those who want to play piano at a highest level and participate in various competitions. I am grateful to the school for being a part of my kids' life for so many years.
