"Middlesex Management guarantees that work orders and maintenance requests are fulfilled within 72 business hours of submission. I live in the Renaissance Terrace Apartments. I had submitted a maintenance request for a broken washing machine on Monday 1/1/2024. The office was closed for New Years and I took this into account when submitting my request. I called the office on Tuesday 1/2/2024 to confirm that the work order had been received. They confirmed that the work order had been received and that the normal processes would be followed. I waited the full 72 hours. No one arrived to repair the broken appliance and called them back on Friday 1/5/2024. I called them in the morning. They said they would send a reminder out. No one came out for the rest of the day. I called them again at 11:43pm on 1/5/2024. I explained the situation to whoever answered the phone. They told me someone would come out in the morning to resolve the situation. Today (Saturday 1/6/2024) no one arrived to fix it. I called them again at 2:33pm on 1/6/2024. They then told me that they do not come out to fix appliances during the weekend, which is contradictory to the information I was given the night prior. And he had no way to guarantee that the appliance I am paying for will get fixed in a timely manner or if they ever even received a work order in the first place. To add to this incredibly unprofessional and downright disgusting treatment of tenant issues, everyone I spoke to was incredibly rude and lacked understanding or compassion for the situation. I was continually treated as an issue to get rid of and not as a paying tenant who is attempting to utilize the services that they claim to provide. DO NOT MOVE INTO ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES!!! They are absolutely horrific to work with, charge ABSOLUTELY WAY TOO much and treat their tenants as subhuman. My family and I are looking to move out as soon as we are able to due to this."
"I moved into Ewing Town Center in June and I have been living here for six months now, and here is my list of everything that is wrong with Ewing Town Center: 1. There is a gap at the bottom of my front door. 2. The living room floor is not installed properly. 3. The kitchen faucet was not tightened down to the kitchen sink. 4. The grout sealer is not cohesive. 5. The ice maker in the freezer does not work properly. When the ice tray gets filled with ice, the ice maker will shut off the entire freezer, which in return, causes my food to unthaw. 6. Framing for the pantry in the kitchen was cut unevenly. 7. The tiles in the shower were not installed properly, some tiles stick out further than others. 8. The overflow cap for the tub is not installed properly. 9. The faucet to the tub is not installed properly. 10.The plate that sits at the back of the neck of the shower head is not affixed to the wall. 11.There are gaps between the base boards and the floor. 12. I had to write two complaint letters due to the fact that the tenant who moved in upstairs from me allows her son to run around all hours of the night like he is outside. By the way management has done nothing about this. 13. Another ignorant tenant was leaving their dog in the garage and it was doing nothing but barking all morning until its owner took it back inside. 14. And now something is crawling inside of my ceiling. I created a maintenance request; my maintenance request was removed from the resident portal and maintenance never came to respond to the issue."
"If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. We moved into a new construction apartment in Bloomfield which we absolutely love and have had no issues with. I ran into an issue where a maintenance staff broke a sentimental item of mine while changing the AC filter. I sent emails to this company since it is the management company for my apartment, it has been TWENTY DAYS since anyone has done anything about it. A team from their company came into my APARTMENT AND BROKE A PRICELESS ITEM. This item was handed down from my family and irreplaceable! YOU ARE IN THE MANAGEMENT/ CUSTOMER SERVICE BUSINESS!!!! Help your tenants with issues ASAP not 20 days later. It is as easy as crediting my account with a number that I feel is adequate for my item. Everytime I spoke to someone they said give it time? Is 20 days not enough time? The poor reviews of 400+ speak for themselves."
"There's a reason why it is rated 1 stars on google- do not live at any of their properties. This is the most unprofessional, horrible management company I have ever dealt with. When we moved in, our apartment was not adequately cleaned. There was all mold and stains in the shower bathroom, there is paint droppings all on the floor, the carpets were filthy and smelled like urine - this is for a $3000 apartment in Woodbridge. I spoke to management, they sent cleaners again but didn't get rid of any of the stains or mold. We had to spend our own money to get the entire apartment recleaned and they removed the stains and mold within a minute. I put in another request weeks ago for a DEEP cleaning of the carpet as this did not happen before we moved in. I received a call saying that they would schedule an outside company to do a deep cleaning of the carpet on a Monday. I called on that Monday and no one had any idea what I was talking about. It was never scheduled, and it has been over a month. I put in a third request and they immediately marked the request as "completed" the day of without contacting me or actually completing it. I asked the leasing office and they said - "Leasing is a separate dept. from maintenance. We do not handle maintenance issues/requests. All I can do is once again forward your email to them, unfortunately we cannot tell them what to do and when to do it. SHAWN" I am still waiting for the apartment to adequately cleaned and its been almost 2 months since I moved in. Stay away from this management company."
