"The intake is lengthy and it depends on who the manager is how long it takes to process the application. My parents currently live here and have met wonderful neighbors. The office is receptive to your needs and my take time. The office turnover is high, hence the 4 star."
"DO NOT APPLY HERE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! POOR MANAGEMENT! Waste of your time! I started the application process for my parents, summer of 2020. In October of 2020, we were notified that we would be added to the waiting list for a 1 bedroom. Fast forward to March 2021, my parents received a mail that there is a 1 bedroom apartment available. In this letter signed by property manager,Patrick Lewis, we were instructed to call and make arrangements for an in person interview. This is where the first MAJOR RED FLAG STARTED. I called the office as noted and spoke with Mr. PATRICK LEWIS. This is the 3rd manager since applying , just to note. I identified myself and told him i was calling to set up a time for an interview. Mr Patrick said that my parents application was removed because we did not call back in time. This was not true at all. The same day we received that mail On March 21 we made that phone call. Also in that mail, it said please to call before March 31st or else apartment will be offered to next applicant. How is it possible to be removed when the deadline had not arrived as yet?! After rectifying this misinformation with Mr Patrick, he scheduled an interview for March 31st at 11 am. On the day of the interview we prepared all the necessary documents and arrived at Rosegate at 11 am. Mr PATRICK LEWIS never showed up for the interview or were we ever acknowledged. We dialed the office number at the intercom at Rosegate, multiple times with no answer. Multiple phone calls were made with no response. After approximately 25 mins, we decided to head home. Throughout the day, I made a few more calls to follow up; no response at all. On April 1st after 12:30 pm, more than 24 hrs after the expected interview, I called the office and Mr Patrick picked up. I asked about our scheduled interview and Mr patrick stated “ well I dont know because we were in an impromptu executive meeting all day, I don’t know what to tell you”. Throughout the entire conversation, Mr patrick was very dismissive, very unprofessional and passive aggressive. In the beginning, not once did he apologize or found a way to rectify the situation. Mr. Lewis never made our interview nor called to follow up. Instead he appeared annoyed that we were upset that he blatantly did not respect our time and efforts. After the unpleasant experience, I requested to have their application removed. He quickly obliged without rectifying. A noteworthy moment of how unprofessional this manager is. He did not care at all. At this point, I could not imagine the thought of having my parents at an apartment with staff, a manager, with such poor communication and customer skills. I requested to speak with someone in corporate, per Mr Patrick, Mr. Chris Likely would be reaching out to me promptly. Today, April 7, an entire week later and I am yet to receive a phone call. For such a lengthy process to receive an apartment and to be treated in such a poor manner I would never recommend this place to any family member. If you care about your loved ones, STAY AWAY!!"
"Just went to the Open House, wow such lovely people and workers, the apartments are spacious and accomodating. 6 month waiting list for 1 bedroom and 1 year for 2 bedroom. Such a nice place, laundry and garbage room. Parking etc. I loved it."
"Adult over 55 living community. Needs updated renovation and better services for Senior living. Not maintained adaquetly or managed well . Seniors and disabled are told that if there is a flood or emergency in apts have to move there furniture and facility have staff that offer limited services that are there job and duties to perform and are being paid for. Management are always being change or replaced(leaving) . Tenants are moving in and out. Are becoming more interested in money not quality of life or making you comfortable in your living conditions. Was maintained earlier years in impeccable services( 8---9 year's ago ). State needs to be more concerned about tenants of Seniors, disabled and handicapped more so than incompetent , and lasy, and non qualified employees. Have no idea of what they are doing for Elderly or Disabled people. Facility needs to be overhauledby competent Employees and Workers in Adult Hospitality Services."
"A relative of mine, who is in her 80's, lives here & I think it is a disgrace the way corporate management treats their tenants!! First of all, earlier this year somebody went into my relative's unit who obviously had a key (I have NO doubt it was an inside job) and robbed her of her valuable rings and gold jewlery! They left no sign that the apartment had been robbed & it was't discovered until my relative was going to wear her jewelry only to find it missing! The police were surprised to learn that there were no security cameras on the floors other than one showing the elevator!! The only thing management would do is change the lock- big deal since that wouldn't keep an insider out!! The hallway rugs on the top 2 floors are filthy!! They were suppose to take them up & replace with a wood laminate but have yet to do so, even though they updated the bottom 2 floors over a year ago. And now the building has a bug problem and even though they will exterminate, the TENANT has to 1st move all their furniture themselves OR pay $600 to have it moved BEFORE they will exterminate. They even implied that they may take court action if the furniture isn't moved!! Had I known over 6 years ago how this place operates, I would NEVER have chosen and suggested my precious loved one move here in a million years!!!!"
