"We have been living at the Summitt in Dobbs Ferry for quite some time now. The management is always available to trouble shoot an issue should one come up. Meagan is personable and extremely knowledgeable about the property. She makes sure an issues is resolved for sure!! We also appreciate notices posted on the Rose app, especially about any issues that may be happening in buildings on the property, such as water issues (town work), electricity and or work to be done on the premises. Maintenance requests are answered in a very timely manner. Rene is quick to respond with message on the app that someone will be at the apartment to take a look at the problem, and usually himself, Jose, or Eric are able to fix the issue, or let you know if further work need to be done. I can honestly say after living here a few years now… and under a few different ownerships…the landscaping looks great, laundry rooms are cleaned, and the upkeep of the property seems to have improved!!"
"I have lived here for many years and through many different owners, management companies, property managements, maintenance and supers. I have to say that with every change there was a rough patch, because, who likes change but I have to say, I love it here. Our super, Rene is amazing. He is very responsive, kind, respectful, efficient, productive, thorough and trusting. Our maintenance crew of Jose and Eric do a great job too. Thanks for doing such a great job."
"This is a pleasant place to live with a great super and maintenance staff, with one exception. THE HEAT. Every apartment receives the same heat controlled by a central thermostat. Except when the temperature outdoors is really low, it is too hot inside the apartments. Complaining does not change anything. Tenants across the premises have windows open, fans and a/c units operating. So while they pump the suffocatingly hot apartments full of heat, we are paying electric bills to cool off."
"Lived here for six years. It is a beautiful community! Very affordable with free parking, heat. On site gym and laundry. Very peaceful and quiet. Dobbs Ferry riverfront is nearby and a very good park. Just walking around in the community is relaxing too. Very safe neighborhood. Not sure why other reviewers had any issues, but management was always very responsive with our requests and always helpful. Loved living here."
"I have lived here for less than a year and I am moving out ASAP!!! The apartments are decent but you can find more space for a better or similar price elsewhere in westchester. The walls and floors are so ridiculously thin. I lived in a top floor apartment with uncovered hardwood floors for 4 years and never had a single noise complaint against me and I just got a second notification from management about keeping my floors covered and the noise down. I very rarely wear heels and I have an 18 lbs dog. I don't even have any heavy dog toys but her simply moving around on the floor, which I do have carpeted, is apparently too loud. I can also hear my neighbor snoring through my bedroom wall. Some genius also decided to place the smoke detector directly above the oven so anytime I try to cook the alarm goes off just from the heat of the oven closed at 350. It's no wonder they told me the appliances were practically brand new when I moved in because unless you are willing to stand with a towel fanning at the ceiling the entire time you are cooking then it's impossible to use the stove. And despite the fact that there are garbage cans with poop bags all over the property people still do not clean up after their dogs and there is waste all over. There are so many better options DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!"
